This exhaust is a definite upgrade from your factory exhaust with its mandrel-bent tubes, hand MIG-welded seams, and free-flowing muffler. You don’t just get a better exhaust sound, you get a more efficient exhaust system overall. This spells added horsepower and torque gains you won’t get from your OEM system.
Better than OEM Design and Manufacturing. With aftermarket exhaust systems, you get a better design and built parts. For instance, you get stainless steel free-flowing muffler instead of the more restrictive chambered style. Next, mandrel bent 409 stainless steel tubing instead of cheaper crush bent tubes means a smoother surface for improved airflow. Finally, hand MIG-welds have a cleaner seam compared to typical commercial automotive welds. The black tips add a dimension of style.
Clamp-On Installation. The AFE Rebel Series Cat-Back Exhaust is easy enough to install on your own using basic tools. Professional installation would be nice, but not necessary if you have basic mechanical skills. In any case, a brief instructional guide is provided to help you figure out the process.
