Merideth: Hey guys. So today, we're checking out the TrueShield Precision Molded Front and Rear Floor Liners in Black, fitting all 2007 to 2013 four-door JK Wranglers. So protecting the interior of your Wrangler is probably high up on your priority list, and floor mats are always a great solution for that. Now, floor mats are always very easy to keep whatever you don't want on your carpet away from your carpet and keeping your interior fresh and new looking. Now, this option by TrueShield will come with the front and rear floor liners, giving you full protection to your carpet and they're gonna be great for anybody who's looking or a high-quality floor liner that's not really going to break the bank. Now, as you can see, I only have the fronts on the table, but again, this is going to come with the front and rear in a full package. Now, these are gonna be also great for anybody who's looking to keep their JK's carpet pristine or is looking to cover up any imperfections in their carpet and wants to prevent any future imperfections from happening. Now, these will be made of a thermoplastic material or thermoplastic construction, so they will be extremely durable, which is very important considering that your footwell area is a very high traffic area. Not to mention that thermoplastic construction will have that molded or precision-molded fit, as it says in the name, so these will have a snug fit in the footwell area, especially in the front, giving you all around coverage while having a really clean look to them. Now, thanks to each treaded bottom portion as you can see here in the high edges on the side, these are gonna trap any mud, dirt, snow, rocks, whatever you're tracking inside your Jeep. And these are going to pick it up and make sure that it stays in this bottom area here. Now, these are also going to be super easy to take out and clean, whether you're scrubbing them down out, or just giving them a quick spray and popping back in. Now, speaking of installing the mats, these mats are going to have a mounting point on the mat itself. As you can see, it's down in the corner here. This is just gonna be a clip pop-in point. Now, that is going to mount into your factory mounting point, just being an extra precaution, making sure that these do won't move around in that footwell area. Even though they are going to be pretty snug, this just adds another layer of prevention of just the floor mat moving around and shifting in the footwell, which can be very annoying with other options if they don't have that mounting point attached here, and if they aren't a molded floor liner that's going to us up against the sides of the footwell area.So again, these are going to be very affordably priced for a set of floor liners coming in at roughly $125. Now, I personally think that these have a high-quality fit and a high-quality construction and are going to get the job done when it comes to a custom-fit liner. Not to mention some of those other expensive choices a lot of the time are a big brand name and they are going to have a little bit of a different construction when it comes to the floor mat itself. So as far as the material is concerned, it might be a little bit different. The tread on the bottom or the tread on the top might be a little bit different when it comes to the overall styling and construction. But again, I personally think if you're looking for a molded floor liner, that's not going to break the bank, that's gonna be good-looking, it's gonna get the job done, and protect your interior, these are going to be a great choice. Now, as you probably can assume, install for these is going to be incredibly easy coming in at a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter taking no longer than five minutes to get the job done. Now, speaking of the install, we do have a customer here at ExtremeTerrain that has put these in his JK and is going to show you how these fit and function. So with that being said, let's hop into the install.Man: All right. Today, we are going to be installing our TrueShield Precision Molded Floor Liners that we got from ExtremeTerrain. The floor liners look like this and the installation instructions look pretty easy. So I don't expect this to take very long. It'll probably be one of the easiest installs I've ever done. We're gonna be installing these mats into our 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited X Four-Door. Oh, so we got mats for the front and for the rear. Step one is to orient the floor liner so that the TrueShield logo is facing out. So if that were the case, logo facing out, I guess this would be for the driver side and this would be for the passenger side. But before we do anything else, we're going to go ahead and give the floorboards a good vacuum because as you can see, they're pretty gross. We don't have any carpet installed. We just got this Jeep and there were no factory carpets installed. So I'm gonna give it a good vacuuming and we will go from there. So we're supposed to remove the previously installed mats, which we obviously do not have either in the front or in the rear. So the next thing, we can skip right to step three is to identify the vehicle's floor mat retention device, which if you can come in here and see, we do not currently have because we don't have a floor mat or carpet. We don't currently have a floor mat retention device installed. So we are going to skip straight to the installation of the mats themselves. We've got our TrueShield logo on the outside, so we know that this is going to be for our driver side, which pops in just like that. I gonna press it in there. I really don't need to do much other than that. But if we did want to install a retention device, what we would do is mark this location here and install the retention device underneath, and then we would just simply snap that down into the retention post or the retention hook. But they're so well molded that I feel like they're not gonna go anywhere anyways. So I don't know that I'm actually going to put a retention device in just for this. And once again, I do not have retention posts for the floor mats on this side either. So I'm just going to go ahead, get this kind of centered, press it in place, and it molds really well to everything. There's really no gaps or, I mean, it was precision cut and that's pretty obvious. So we're just gonna lay that in and I will grab the piece that goes to cover the back floorboard. So this is the one piece for the back floorboard. Actually, it's pretty sweet because it covers everything, including this divider right here. So let's get it down. Once again, we do not have the retention devices on this part either, which would ordinarily be right here and the same location on the other side, but everything does fit in really nicely and smoothly. That's about it. I mean, that was really one of the easiest installs I've ever done, and I've done a few. I'm just gonna make sure we get it tucked in underneath all of our trim here. And that is pretty secure. So that being said, you may have these retention posts or retention hooks already installed in your Jeep. And if you did, the only thing that you would do different is just press these down and lock them into place.Merideth: So that is going to wrap it up for my review and install on the TrueShield Precision Molded Front and Rear Floor Liners in Black, fitting all 2007 to 2013 four-door JK Wranglers.
