Hey, guys.So, today we're checking out the TruShieldPrecision Molded Front and Rear Floor Liners,fitting all 2018 and newer 4-door JL Wranglers.So, when it comes to protecting your interior,it is definitely important, especially whenit comes to your carpet, and investing inthe set of floor liners is definitely a greatplace to start.Now, this option by TruShield is going todo a really good job at protecting your carpetsfrom whatever you're tracking in and out ofyour Wrangler, could be dirt, mud, water,rain, whatever you're tracking in and out.These are going to prevent it from gettingto your carpet and causing any damage.Now, these are even great if you already haveany damage or any imperfections to your carpetand you're looking to cover them up with agood looking floor mat.Now, these are gonna be made of an injectionmolded thermoplastic so these are gonna havea very good fit.So, as you can tell these floor mats are gonnahave high edges which is not only going toprotect the bottom but it's also gonna protectthe sides of your carpets so you're gettingfull protection with this set of floor liners.Now, these are gonna be made of injection-moldedthermoplastics so they will be flexible, butthey're also going to stay in place and havea really good fit.Now, as you can tell, these are also goingto come with not only the front floor linersbut the back as well and you're getting somemid coverage for that back carpet area.Now, what I really like about these is thefact that you're gonna tread on the bottomthat's gonna capture a lot of whatever youtrack in and out of your Jeep.You can easily pop these out, wash them downand throw them back in.And you're also going to have the connectionpoints or the tie-down points on the floormat so they will stick into your factory mounts,making sure that these are not gonna be movingaround while you're driving or moving aroundon your passengers either.Now, these will be at roughly $130 for theset.And I personally think that's a fantasticprice point for the type of floor mat thatthis is.Now, there are a couple of other options whenit comes to floor mats, there are usuallythose carpeted options that are more for styleinstead of protection.There are universal options that will justlay on the bottom of the footwell area, thereare some with smaller edges or smaller sides.And then there are options like this, wherethey're molded to the footwell area and providea decent amount of protection in comparisonto the other choices.Now, usually, those less protective optionsthose are gonna be a little bit more budget-friendly.With this, these are usually going to be alittle bit more on the expensive side.But this set, in particular, is going to bevery affordable for the high-quality systemthat this is.Now, there are other options like this.However, I personally think if you're lookingto save a couple of bucks and still get avery high quality designed out of a floormat for the front and the rear of your JL,then this is gonna be a great choice to takea look into.So, install is obviously going to be veryeasy.It's a one out of three wrenches on the difficultymeter from me taking me no longer than 10minutes to get these in your JL.So, speaking of that install, let me run youthrough that right now.So, our first step, we just gonna need topop out our factory floor liner, put this to the sidethen we can grab our new floor liner.Line this up with the factory tie-down, giveit a good push.Then you can do the same thing on the otherside.So, just like the front, this is gonna bethe same process, pop them out of both ofthe tie-down points.So, we're gonna do it on both sides this timebefore we install our new floor liner.Next, we can take a new floor liner, placethat down making sure that the cutouts areat the back that's gonna go around the seatposts here.Just gonna have to fold it down in place,we're gonna get both sides folded inmaking sure that they're going around eachof the posts, so you line it up with thattie-down, give it a good press.Making sure that it's sitting flush.Same thing for the other side, kind of pivotAll right.So, after they're on the tie-down points andyou've fitted the floor liners to your floorand to your carpet, then you're all set togo.So, that's gonna wrap it up for my reviewand install.Make sure you like and subscribe, and formore videos and products just like this, alwayskeep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
