Description
Upgrade Your Jeep. You bought your Jeep to go places others can't go. If you have pushed that performance envelope and paid for it with a damaged axle, or you want to upgrade you rig so that this doesn't happen, then you need to check out the Teraflex Rear Semi Float CRD60 Axle w/ 5.38 Gears. This axle system is a dramatic increase in performance over stock and will make your Jeep into the trail running machine you have always wanted it to be.
Built Tough. Everything about this axle system is beefier and more performance-oriented than the stock unit that comes on your Jeep. The axle tubes have thicker steel walls and the differential housing and cover are made of ductile iron for strength. Bigger brakes and 1/4" brackets for mounting are bigger and heavier for increased performance. There are built-in skid plates and a high capacity housing holding 3 quarts of oil. This axle was built to perform.
Bolt-on Upgrade. All of this performance bolts right into the stock mounting points and even retains the ESP, ABS and speedometer sensor capabilities, allowing this upgrade to utilize existing systems on your Jeep.
Extensive Installation. This is an involved installation that requires knowledge of your Jeep and its suspension/drivetrain as well as specialized tools and equipment. If you do not have this knowledge or the equipment, it is recommended that you take this part to a certified mechanic and have them conduct the replacement.
