Description
Superior to Stock. If you have damaged your rear axle while riding down a trail, or just want to increase the performance of your Jeep Wrangler, then the Teraflex Rear Semi Float CRD60 Axle w/ 4.88 Gears is the answer to that better performance value than replacing your rear axle with a stock one.
Heavy Duty Build. This piece includes heavier steel walls for the axle tubes, bigger brakes, heavy duty bearings and seals, ductile iron for both the differential housing and cover, 1/4" thick brackets for mounting, built in skid plates and "skimmer" for the ring gear, high capacity housing holding 3 quarts of oil. The list goes on and on. It's safe to say this is a significant upgrade over stock, which you will enjoy for miles.
Upgrade Over OEM. This is a bolt-in upgrade over what your stock Jeep has. Every part on and in it is stronger and provides more performance than the stock system.
Involved Installation. This installation requires specialized tools and equipment as well as an understanding of drive trains and axle systems. If you do not have the skill set to do this replacement, it is recommended that you take this part to a certified mechanic to have them conduct the replacement.
