Description
Full Floating Axle Conversion. Your stock rear JK axles come with a semi-floating design, which are prone to damage. With the TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit w/ 3 in. Tube, all the problems associated with semi-floating axles become a thing of the past. The TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit turns your axle from a semi-floating axle into a fully floating design, so you can take on the toughest off-road terrain without worrying about axle damage.
Tough Chromoly Construction. The TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit features forged 4140 chromoly-steel spindles, and tough 4340 chromoly-steel axle shafts. Together with a 2-wheel bearing design, the 4140 chromoly spindles distribute the vehicle weight more evenly, decreasing load stresses. Without these stresses, the 4340 chromoly-steel shaft can now transfer torque more efficiently.
Large 8-Lug Wheels. The TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit comes in an 8-lug design for use with 8-bolt pattern wheels. These larger wheels give you better ground clearance and maneuverability when going off-road.
New, More Powerful Brakes. The TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit comes with TeraFlex’s Slotted Big Rotor Brake Kit. These new brakes give you better stopping power, but still use the factory park brakes as well as brake pads and calipers, for convenience. All the factory sensors are retained as well.
Some Modifications Necessary. Installing your new TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit is a relatively straightforward process, but will require advanced mechanical skills, and some special tools. Some modifications to your Jeep are also necessary. Professional installation is recommended. Note: Prior to purchase, please determine if your axle tube’s outer diameter is 3 in. or 3.25 in. wide, and if its wall thickness is 0.5 in. or 0.375 in. thick.
Covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty. The TeraFlex Rear CRD60 8-Lug Full Float Conversion Kit w/ 3 in. Tube is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for further details.
