Description
Heavy-Duty Rear Axle. The Teraflex CRD60 HD Rear Axle with Full-Float design is a robust upgrade created to replace weak or damaged stock axles in Jeep Wrangler JL models. Construction and Appearance. This axle assembly features a ductile cast iron housing with heavy-duty rib gussets for increased strength and a UV-protected triple-stage powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. It includes 3.25" diameter DOM axle tubes with a 0.375" wall thickness and reinforced components like HD bearing caps and a ductile iron differential cover to ensure durability under extreme driving conditions.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is recommended to be performed by a certified mechanic. No drilling is necessary, and the process typically takes approximately 6 to 8 hours depending on gear ratio selection.
