Construction and Appearance. This sway bar is crafted from machined, heat-treated AISI 4140 alloy steel with forged, heat-treated AISI 1045 carbon steel arms. It features rubber bushings over-molded on aluminum with Teflon liners and powder-coated steel backing for durability. The bar and arms are protected with an e-dip coating and subjected to 1000-hour salt spray testing, ensuring a corrosion-resistant, high-quality finish.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a bolt-on design requiring no drilling or modifications. Skilled DIYers can expect about four hours to complete the process, although professional installation is recommended for best results.
Application. This sway bar kit fits all 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with a minimum 1-inch suspension lift. Sport and Sahara trims with Dana 35 rear axles require the use of wheel spacers to meet fitment criteria. It is compatible with both 2-door and 4-door models and all engine configurations. Note that some setups may require trimming of fender liners and a minimum of 2 inches of added rear bump stop. The kit also requires wheels with at least 4.75 inches of backspacing.
