Description
A Heavy Duty Full Floating Dana 60 Front Axle for Your Jeep. The Teraflex Front Tera60 Axle with Locking Hubs & 5.38 Gears is the toughest replacement front axle for your JK Jeep. This 8 x 6.50 inch wheel bolt pattern front axle is ideal for extreme off-road Jeeps with up to 6 inches of lift.
Durable Cast Iron Construction. This heavy-duty Tera60 axle housing is created from ductile cast iron with increased rib gussets for added strength. Equipped with pre-installed inner seals and high flow oil passages, this housing is built to outlive and outperform your stock unit.
Built To Last. This full float axle housing also comes pre-tapped for bump stop extension and pre-drilled for limit straps and lower spring retainers. For added strength, the axle sports an oversized front pinon. This serious off-road upgrade built with 3.25-inch O.D. x 0.37-inch thick wall axle tubes for superior strength and longevity.
Traction And Off Road Features. Giving traction to the 5.38 Spicer ring and pinion geared front is a ARB super air locker. The front axle is built with the exclusive smooth radius bottom design allowing it to glide over obstacles. Stopping your Jeep is a 13.3-inch rotor provided with this axle.
Protecting The Axle. The axle is covered in a premium UV protected triple-stage powder coat to keep it protected from corrosion and gunk. This heavy-duty front axle housing a direct bolt-on, fitting like OEM. Teraflex’s bolt-on axle housing is engineered, designed and built in the USA.
Moderately Difficult Installation. Installation of this Teraflex Front Tera60 Axle with Locking Hubs - 5.38 Gears will take roughly 5 hours. The heavy-duty replacement is a direct fit and should install as OEM would. Tools required for the job should not be more than simple hand tools.
1-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty & Lifetime Structural Warranty. This full float axle comes with a 1-year unlimited mileage warranty and a lifetime structural warranty. For more info on the warranty please contact the manufacturer.
