Lift comes with all the solid build quality TeraFlex is known for, just a lot stronger. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing, include improvements that let you drive your Jeep a lot harder than ever, without the chance of failure. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing is designed as a bolt-in replacement, so no major modifications are required on your Jeep.
The Industry Standard for Tough Axle Housings. One look at the TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing and you know it’s unlike any other replacement axle housing on the market today. Constructed from high-grade nodular cast iron, the TeraFlex Tera44 Axle Housing features larger housing rib gussets and forged inner knuckles for extreme strength. The larger 3.25 diameter axle tubes have walls that are 0.5 in. thick making these the largest axle tubes anywhere! A UV-treated black powder coat is then applied in a unique 3-stage process for the best corrosion protection there is.
Bolt-In Installation. The TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing is engineered for direct bolt-in installation, so it will use your Jeep’s factory unit bearings, outer knuckles, axle shafts, and outer axle assembly, as well as all the brakes and sensors. No modifications to your Jeep are necessary, but installation is a labor- and time-intensive endeavor requiring extensive mechanical knowledge. Installation by a professional is highly recommended.
Requirements and Recommendations. It is necessary to equip the TeraFlex Front Tera44 Replacement Axle Housing with adjustable control arms, such as the TeraFlex FlexArm for proper caster adjustment. Additionally, please install aftermarket inner axle shafts that can handle the additional power. The axle U-joints from a 2013 to 2017 Wrangler JK are also required, as well as an air system the included ARB air locker. Finally, upgrades to the axle stub, axle shaft tube seal, steering, and brake system are highly recommended for the best performance.
