How to Install Teraflex Front Adjustable Trackbar on your 1997-2006 Wrangler

1. Remove the stock track bar.


2. Connect the upper end of the track bar with the bolt. Be sure to replace the cotter pin on the pivot end of the track bar.


3. Adjust track bar to center the axle under the vehicle. Use the threaded center section and a wrench to lengthen or shorten the track bar.


4. Attach the lower end of the control arm to existing hole with the new bolt supplied with the kit. Torque this bolt to 74 ft. lbs.

5. Once the proper length has been determined for the track bar, tighten the clamps on the adjustable section so that they clear other suspension components.

Adjustment lengths from stock:
3” inch lift lengthen track bar 9/16”
4” inch lift lengthen track bar 3/4”
