Just had this lift installed. It looks great! Perfect height. Ride is good. Can't wait to get it off road. Was going to install myself but just did not have the time or the space. Worth having the shop do it.Helpful (5)

Excellent value and quality
I purchased this kit because of the reviews and the price. I wanted the lifted look and the ability to have bigger tires. I didn't want to go full on jacked because my jeep is still under warranty. This kit rides nice and looks sick!Helpful (5)

My JK's update.
Replacing my worn out suspension has revitalized my jk. Now when I drive over bumps I don't hear clinking and rattling. The ride is phenomenal. I'm looking forward towards my next project.Helpful (7)

Pretty simple install
This pretty simple install. I installed this on my own so it took a little longer, but got it done in a day. I'm pretty happy with it and the Jeep is definitely starting to look more like an off road vehicle, instead of a grocery-getter! Haha!Helpful (5)

2015 2-Door Install
Easy install, took about 4 hours with a friend. Great fit, rides almost as comfortable as stock. Great value for the money. 2.5 inch almost looks like an understatement. This is perfect for 35's, I wouldn't go with 33's.Helpful (6)

Will this fit on a JKU or will I need different shocks?
The Teraflex 2.5 in. Performance Budget Boost Kit w/ Shocks will be compatible with both 2 and 4 door models. Only springs are specific to the 2 and 4 door models and this kit will reuse your factory springs and install spacers- which are universal.
Hi I recently bought this but I need coil springs also. What Tereflex coil springs would you recommend I get to go with this kit? Thanks
The Teraflex 2.5 in. Performance Budget Boost Kit w/ Shocks is intended for use with the factory springs, and install of the spacers. If you are removing the factory springs, we would suggest removing the spacers as well and installing springs rated for 2.5" of lift.
Will a 20x10 rim and 35 tire rub on anything after installing this lift?
You should not experience any rubbing issues with a 20x10 wheel and a 35" tire as long as the wheel has the proper backspacing, when installing with the Teraflex 2.5 in. Performance Budget Boost Kit w/ Shocks.
I have stock everything. I need to replace shocks all around. I'm trying to decide between this kit and the other Tera with springs. What the main difference beside springs? What can I expect using this kit with my stock springs? I will need a steering stabilizer mine leaking.. I'm going to run stock wheels and tires for now do I need anything else.? I will be going to 33 or 35 tires later..
Thank you for your question! Both lifts will accommodate up to a 35" tire, but I would recommend a 33" for the most travel distance. The Teraflex 2.5 in. Performance Budget Boost Kit with shocks will come with the shocks, but it will also come with coil spacers to adjust your coils to be in the same lift spec as the socks. The Teraflex 2.5 in. Lift Kit without Shocks will come with the higher springs, but it will not have shock extensions to bring your factory shocks to the same lift spec as the coils. The Teraflex 2.5 in. Lift Kit without Shocks is designed so you are able to pick out the shocks you specifically want in the 2.5" spec for the lift.
What are the recommended add ons? Gear ratio change? Putting on 35's and reading about lowered peformance.
Thank you for your question! You should not need any additional components for the suspension with this kit, although I always recommend an alignment after lifting. If you are putting on 35's, re-gearing is a good choice or a tuner to correct the computer. If everything is corrected you shouldn't lose too much performance.
Hello, to be able to run 35" tires and not have any rubbing issues at all, we would recommend installing a 2.5" lift kit, so this one you selected would be good for that.
Thank you for your question. To fit a standard 35" tire- a 35x12.50 you would want a wheel that is at least 8 inches wide, but 9-10 inches would be more ideal. Additionally, you would want 4.5" of backspacing or less on the wheel to make sure there is no rubbing when you turn your wheels! You can contact us if you have any more questions or concerns: https://www.extremeterrain.com/contact.html.
Hello, this kit by Teraflex uses their 2.5" 9500 VSS shocks which are hydraulic shocks.
Thank you for your question! I would first recommend checking your tire pressure and ensuring all the bolt are tightened. If still experiencing the wobble I would suggest to call in so that we can further help you troubleshoot this issue!
Hello, the exhaust spacer is recommended on Wranglers from 12-17.
Hello, the Teraflex 2.5 in. Performance Budget Boost Kit w/ Shocks (07-17 Wrangler JK) includes 2.5" front spring spacers, 2" rear spring spacers, so this will make the Jeep level.
