      Description

Lift Specs. TeraFlex's Budget Boost Lift Kit without Shocks is an affordable lift alternative for the thrifty who want to add up to an extra 2 inches of suspension lift to their TJ. The kit's coil spacers add 1.5 inches of lift, and provide 2 inches if the factory rubber insulators are used. These parts are engineered for reliable performance at an attractive budget price.

Lift Construction. TeraFlex's boost lift kit without shocks is made from high quality materials, including carefully chosen metal and rubber compounds. The lift kit's components are fabricated to work perfectly with Unlimited and Rubicon variants of TJ Wrangler of the appropriate model years. The two inches of lift gained (with the factory rubber insulators, as noted) enables running a tire up to 31x10.50 in size. This kit comes with TeraFlex's limited lifetime warranty, which lasts for as long as the original purchaser continues to own the Jeep that it is initially installed in.

Application. TeraFlex's budget boost lift kit for the 1997-2006 Wrangler TJ without shocks has an advanced installation procedure which requires at least 2.5 hours to complete.

        Teraflex Level Lift

Installed on my 06 TJ Rubicon. I don’t do any extreme off-road so with the new 33 inch wheels and tires this was perfect give me a little bit more Clearance and the jeep rides like new. Also installed rancho 5000 shocks new brakes new rotors and a new rancho steering stabilizer And Barricade winch bumper with Smittybilt 9500 winch. With this lift and the added weight of the bumper and winch it worked out good .

5 2001 Wrangler - Voodoo Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

Great quality for a smooth ride.

These little spacers helped out a lot for that extra little bit of height, for a cheep price. They are great quality so the ride is smooth. Perfect for a tight budget.

5 2006 Wrangler Unlimited - RichardD Installation Time: Weekend

        Though but effective

Well made pucks, no defects or blemishes. Bump stop extenders are awesome and easy to install. The pucks are a little tough to install over the spring/bumpstop column, but slid into place with a little force and twisting, and a snug fit is better so that's good. Pulling out the springs and shocks was a pain, need to use coil compressors, definitely detach your driveshafts and brakes USE A TORQUEWRENCH TO REATATCH DRIVESHAFTS (I ruined my rear DS lol). Took me about 20 hours over a week, I did pucks, shocks, brake pads. I deleted OEM rear pucks, but moved the OEM front .5" pucks to the back, and added new .75" pucks in the front, to get a nice 2" lift and correct the usual lj rake.

5 2001 Wrangler - Carney Installation Time: Afternoon

        Worked great

Easy on and looks great. Buddy and I were able to get the springs back on without spring compressors but would recommend them to make it easier. Ride feels stock, looks great. For the money its unbeatable till I decide to drop big money on a nice lift.

4 2004 Wrangler - Kilroy Installation Time: Full Day

        Great lift kit

The kit was almost complete. The only thing I had to go buy was 2 longer bolts for the rear bump stops. Combined with a set of bilstein shocks I'm very much satisfied.

A Great Way to Get Your Feet Wet

This was the first real modification I did to my TJ. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. With the proper tools, installing this lift was a breeze. It took me right at 3 hours all said and done. The on road ride quality is maintained, while leaving room for slightly larger tires. I'm now running 32" BFG A/T's, and I'm loving it. If you want larger tires, or you just want to give your jeep a more aggressive stance on a budget. This is the kit for you.

I have installed a 2.5" lift, If i put the 1.5 body lift, what other modifications will need to be done?

      • If your 2.5" lift is a suspension lift, no other modification will be necessary to install the Teraflex 1.5 in. Budget Boost Lift Kit.

Are new shocks a necessity for this kit to fit on my 97 TJ?

      • The Teraflex 1.5 in. Budget Boost Lift Kit w/o Shocks is compatible with OE shocks, but we would suggest upgrading for shocks compatible with a 1.5" lift.
