Description
High-Temperature Protection. The Protect-A-Boot and Wire Kit for 8-Cylinder engines is designed to shield spark plug boots and wires from extreme engine compartment heat. It prevents damage such as burning, hardening, and cracking caused by high temperatures near exhaust manifolds and headers, ensuring reliable ignition system performance under demanding conditions.

The kit features boots made from a unique proprietary weave of glass fiber material, mined from lava rock, providing both durability and pliability for universal fitment. The double-wall boots include an internal metal ring for secure fitment and resist heat up to 1800°F (983°C). The product displays a carbon fiber-like look due to its color and weave, offering an aesthetically pleasing finish suitable for race, street, show, and off-road vehicles.
