Moreover, this trim piece’s durable layered construction adds a level of scratch protection to this area of your interior.

      Durable Build Quality. This accent trim is made from a sheet of automotive-grade plastic in a unique Cavalry Blue colorway for stiffness as well as a fade-resistant look. This plastic sheet is then precision-cut to exact measurements, ensuring an OE-grade fit when installed. Finally, a specialized resin is layered onto the sheet until it achieves a domed appearance. This top layer provides the trim piece with exceptional durability and a glossy look that will last for years.

      User-Friendly Install Procedure. This accent trim comes preinstalled with a 3M automotive-grade adhesive backing, making its installation a user-friendly peel-and-stick process. Before installation, it is advised you clean the mounting area by wiping it down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol or acetone. This is to get rid of any grease and dust that could hinder the adhesive from bonding properly with the plastic. It is also advisable to warm up the mounting area when installing this trim piece in cold weather as the adhesive bonds better onto a warm surface. This can be accomplished with a heat gun or hairdryer.
