It is designed to protect surfaces exposed to high temperatures, such as painted panels and areas near exhaust pipes, helping to maintain integrity and appearance under extreme heat exposure.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-temperature resistant fiberglass material with a thickness of .060 inches, this product features a reflective aluminized mylar thermal barrier on one side. The smooth, reflective surface is designed to withstand direct heat up to 1200°F, providing durable and effective heat insulation.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and flexible due to its adhesive backing, allowing it to be secured with either adhesive or mechanical fasteners. The material can be easily trimmed to fit specific application areas, simplifying the installation process.

Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required for precise placement. It should not be applied directly to exhaust components but is suitable for protecting floorboards, body panels, areas near fuel tanks, and under carpeting where excessive heat is a concern.
