Description
Flexible Heat Shield. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II measures 42 inches by 48 inches and is designed to block engine and exhaust heat from penetrating vehicle interiors, protecting sensitive components from heat damage. Its flexible design and peel-and-stick adhesive backing allow it to conform to firewalls, transmission tunnels, floors, and other surfaces, making it an effective thermal barrier in various automotive applications.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This shield features an embossed 10 mil aluminum face laminated to a 1/8-inch composite glass-fiber core and finished with a proprietary high temperature black coating. The coating provides durability and a sleek black finish, while withstanding extreme heat exposure up to 1750°F. The adhesive backing is designed to hold strong beyond 450°F.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward with the peel-and-stick adhesive backing, requiring no drilling or additional hardware. The flexible sheet can be easily trimmed, shaped, and applied to fit various vehicle contours for a customized fit.
