Description
Heat And Abrasion Protection. The Fire Sleeve and Tape Kit; 0.75-Inch x 36-Inch is designed to safeguard sensitive automotive lines such as fuel, transmission, and brake hoses from damaging heat and abrasion. It is used to wrap and insulate these components, ensuring durability and performance in high-temperature environments.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This kit features a sleeve made from braided glass material that is highly resistant to heat. The sleeve is heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber, providing a textured yet flexible barrier capable of withstanding temperatures up to 500°F continuously and intermittent heat spikes up to 2000°F. The Fire Tape included is black, adhesive-free, self-adhering silicone tape that finishes the sleeve ends neatly.
