Description
Body Mount Modification. The Body Mount Chop Kit allows trimming the body mounts on the Toyota Tacoma to provide additional clearance for larger tires, enhancing off-road capabilities without limiting tire size. The kit includes heavy-duty welded caps that reinforce and seal the trimmed openings, ensuring durability and protection.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from 11 gauge steel, the weld-on caps are CNC laser cut for a precise fit. This construction provides strength and reliability while maintaining a professional appearance resistant to wear during off-road use.
Installation. Installation requires trimming the existing body mounts using the provided cutting template and welding on the reinforcement caps. Basic cutting and welding skills are necessary; no additional drilling is needed.
Warranty. This product includes a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship prior to installation.
Application. This kit is designed to fit Toyota Tacoma models from 2005 through 2023 as well as 2003+ 4Runner and 2007+ FJ Cruiser models, providing a custom solution to improve tire clearance while maintaining body mount integrity.
