Description
Heavy-Duty Expedition Performance. The 3-Inch Expedition Leaf Springs are designed to enhance suspension performance for Toyota Tacomas by providing increased lift and load carrying capacity. These springs are ideal for off-road enthusiasts who require reliable suspension that can consistently handle up to 500 pounds of additional gear, improving tire clearance and vehicle stability during extended expeditions.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a 9-leaf plus 1 overload/rebound configuration, these springs feature a durable double military wrap at the forward eye for added strength. The torque leaf design improves anti-wrap characteristics, while diamond-cut leaf ends reduce stress points. Teflon friction pads between leaves ensure smooth articulation and minimize noise. All components are shot-peened for stress relief, and the springs come with a complete urethane bushing and sleeve kit.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and does not involve drilling, as the springs mount to original factory hangers. Longer U-bolts and shocks are necessary, and care must be taken to install bump stops of sufficient height to avoid spring inversion.
Warranty. These springs include a 90-day warranty against defects in material and workmanship prior to installation.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 2005 through 2023 Toyota Tacoma models without modification, this product enhances heavy-duty off-road suspension capabilities.
