      Description

      Boosted Braking Performance for Road and Trail. Boost your braking for the trails and the highway when you upgrade to the SP Performance Front Pair Peak Series 5-Lug Slotted Rotors with Black Zinc Plating. These rotors are ideal for daily driver Tacomas that regularly see offroad action. The secret is their unique peak slotted design, which delivers superior braking by ejecting brake dust away from the rotor face, increasing brake pad bite. These peak slots also help cool the rotor more efficiently, eliminating fade.

      Heavy-Duty Build Quality. These components are constructed from heavy-duty cast iron rotor blanks before being ground, CNC-machined, and balancing to its final form. This process ensures a pair of rotors that are up to OEM specifications. These rotors then receive a high-strength black zinc coating for maximum protection against corrosion as well as an interesting look.

      Special Peak Slotted Design. These front rotors utilize a special peak slotted design which appears as a series of bi-directional slots similar to a 5-point star originating from the hub. This design effectively reduces brake dust build-up, outgassing, and hydroplaning while improving air circulation. The result is improved braking performance with virtually no chance of fade. Additionally, these slots are machined in a way that eliminates sharp edges, eliminating the potential for cracking.

      Professional Installation Recommended. These SP Performance rotors install into our truck without the need for modifications to you braking system. You will however, need a runout gauge to ensure proper installation. Wheel alignment should also be checked after installation. If you do not have a runout gauge and are not inclined to purchase one, installation by a professional is recommended.

      Covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. These SP Performance peak series rotors are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against factory defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
