These rotors are made from high-quality materials and are designed with structural integrity in mind. Each rotor in this kit is carefully analyzed and uses the best pattern for strength and integrity. The rotors also feature smooth edges, which greatly reduces the chance of cracking. The design also helps lower the rotor temperature and eliminates heat checking and warping as a result. These SP rotors are manufactured with OEM specifications.
Chamfered Hole Design. The holes in these rotors are cross-drilled using SP Performance’s exclusive Sinusoid Curve Chamfer. The chamfer is designed to maximize air circulation and produces holes with absolutely no sharp edges. In return, you get rotors with reduced possibility of heat checking and increased life service expectancy.
Durable Construction. All SP Performance rotors are manufactured using CNC-machined, 1-piece cast metal. The superior integrity of a single piece alloy ensures that the resulting rotors are of top-notch quality and have superior braking performance. The cross-drilled holes also reduce the risk of hydroplaning when hitting a puddle, since the water does not get trapped between the brake pads and the brake rotors. The rotors are finished with Gray ZRC coating for protection against corrosion, rust, and oxidation.
