These factors combine to ensure improved stopping power and brake feel. This is particularly helpful if your Jeep sees a lot of time on the trails.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. These cast-iron brake rotors are precision-machined and balanced before being disc-ground to its final form. This construction ensures exceptional strength and an OEM-style fit. Providing these rotors with exceptional rust protection is a specialized black zinc plating which also lends some stylish looks.
Directional Slotted Design with Mini-Slots. These rotors deliver their impressive performance via unique slotted design. Specifically, these rotors feature angled directional slotting with alternating full- and half-length slots. This design works to expel brake dust and provide cooling more efficiently than conventional slotting by working in “pulses”. Combining a vented construction and chamfered edges, these rotors that greatly reduce the likelihood of brake fade and cracking.
Professional Installation Recommended. These SP Performance rotors install directly onto your Jeep’s factory locations without the need for modifications. That said, a disc brake runout gauge is necessary for proper installation, which most home garages do not have. You will also need to have your wheels aligned after installation. Consequently, professional installation is recommended.
