Description
Rear Cargo Expansion. The Smittybilt Modular Rear Bumper Swingout for the passenger side enhances cargo storage by adding a durable and functional swing gate to the vehicle’s rear. It includes drop down tables that provide a flat work surface, ideal for outdoor activities or mobile work setups. An integrated bottle opener adds convenience during outdoor use.
Construction and Appearance. This swing gate is built from rugged materials to ensure off-road durability and features a powder coat finish designed to withstand trail conditions. It incorporates serviceable bearings and a unique quick-cam latch system to enable smooth operation and long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with provided instructions, requiring no complex modifications in most cases. The swing gate is designed for direct fitment to simplify the upgrade process.
Warranty. The product includes a limited lifetime structural warranty and a 5-year finish warranty for reliable long-term use.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 2016 through 2023 Toyota Tacoma models. Note that it is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) sensors.
