Then the Smittybilt hard top hoist is just what you need. This unit provides a hands-free solution for taking off your Wrangler’s top for those summer cruises.
Compact and Strong Design. Measuring in at 48x20x20 inches, the Smittybilt hard top hoist is a convenient tool that will make installing and removing your hard top a breeze. The crane comes with a 200 amp 1/3 HP AC motor that can lift up to 1,000 pounds – which is well beyond Wrangler’s hard top weight.
No Damage to your Wrangler. Smittybilt is inclusive of EasyGlide wheels located on the anchor unit to allow you to wheel your hard top to a secure storage area quickly. The hoist is armed with built-in scratch prevention and safety stops that make hoisting easy and prevents any damage to your Wrangler’s top. Other protection measures include rubber stops, coated J-hooks, and cushioned support rollers to avoid scratching. The hoist has inbuilt limit stops and an internal braking system to ensure safe motor operation.
Installation. This unit comes with a built-in adjustable latching system that ensures a perfect and secure fit. Use the included mounting hardware plus the two eye bolts that will allow you to stabilize your unit using additional bungees. .you’ll need to allocate approximately 2 hours for the installation process.
