The Skid Row Off-Road Engine/Transmission Skid Plate is engineered to protect essential components including the engine oil pan, transmission, and front exhaust of Jeep Wrangler TJ models equipped with the 4.0L 6-cylinder engine. It guards against damage during off-road driving, allowing you to confidently tackle rough terrain.

Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from 3/16-inch thick steel that is laser cut and CNC formed, this skid plate features a durable semi-gloss black powder coat finish to resist corrosion and abrasion. A 1/4-inch thick steel angle reinforcement on the driver’s side increases strength without obstructing the exhaust or driveshaft.

Installation. The skid plate offers easy installation with a 100% bolt-on design requiring no drilling, and it can be installed in under an hour using the included Grade 5 zinc plated hardware.

Warranty. This product carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, ensuring long-lasting reliability.

Application. Specifically made to fit Jeep Wrangler TJ models from 1997 through 2002 equipped with the 4.0L 6-cylinder engine.
