I'm Ryan from ExtremeTerrain.com, and this is my review of the Seat Armour Seat Cover fitting all 1987 to 2016 Wranglers. There are a few different versions of these seat covers. One is designed like this one where you remove the headrest, put the seat cover on, and then replace the headrest, and that's what keeps the seat cover in place. There's another version that goes over top of the headrest and has one strap that will attach between the back and the bottom of the seat to hold it in place. And finally, there is more of a towel-to-go version of this, which just straps around the headrest with a clip, and that's the retention mechanism to hold the seat cover onto the seat. All of these different seat covers are available in a variety of different designs and colors. These seat covers are for those of you looking to change up the look of your interior, and these will definitely do that. While these aren't going to provide the same level of protection as some of the other seat covers on the market, it will give you some level of protection for your factory upholstery. Another nice feature of these if you have leather seats in your Jeep is on those hot, sticky summer days you won't stick to the seat with this material covering over the top of it. Now, these aren't going to fit as well or be designed in the same way as some of the seat covers on the market that are two, three, and four times as expensive as these, but for an inexpensive fix that will, again, change up the look of your interior this is a nice option. These seat covers are made of a terrycloth velour material, so think beach towel when you think of what these are going to feel like. As I mentioned before, they attach in one of three different ways onto the Jeep, either with the headrest holding it into place with one strap holding it into place between the back and the bottom of the seat, or with a clip that goes around the headrest. Now, because of the way these are designed, being a universal fit for any Wrangler of any year, and without them being specific to the seat, they're not going to stay in place as well as some of those more expensive seat covers. They are going to slide around a good bit. Another thing to consider is because these are built almost like a beach towel, while they give you some light protection for your interior, they're not going to provide the level of protection of those more expensive seat covers on the market. So this really comes down to what you're looking for. If you want something that keeps you from sticking to the seats, that changes the look of the interior, and that's inexpensive, this is the option for you. If you want something that looks more like a factory seat does but adds some protection, isn't going to move around, and you have the budget for it, there are more expensive seat covers out there that will fit your needs. One benefit of these being a universal fit and not strapping into place like a more traditional seat cover is that installation is a lot easier. If you've installed a high-quality, tight-fitting seat cover in the past you can know that they can be a little bit of a bear to wrestle into place. These will install much, much easier. For this version that has a slot in it all you do is remove the headrest, put this in place, pop the headrest back on, and you're done. For the version that goes over the top of the headrest and has one set of straps that go between the back and the bottom of the seat, you'll place the top of the cover over the headrest, pull that strap in between the two seat pieces and clip it, and you're done. And finally, for the towel-to-go version that just wraps around the headrest with a carabiner clip, again, the installation couldn't be any easier. You just wrap it around, clip it in place, and you're finished. The whole installation for these seat covers won't take you more than 15 minutes for the pair, as opposed to those tighter-fitting, more expensive seat covers on the market that can take an hour or more to get installed. Like I said before, these are a lot less expensive than some of the highest quality seat covers on the market. That being said, they also don't provide the level of protection or the level of fit that those covers do either. So it comes down to what you're looking for in your Jeep. If you're looking for something that's fun, that changes up the look and gives you light protection, this is a nice option. If you want to spend some more money, get more protection and get a more factory fit, that option is available as well. Not what I expected
I bought these for my husbands jeep . I didn’t realize that they are not actual seat covers but rather towels that only stay on because you have to put them through the headrest . Every time you get out you have to fix them . Ithey are totally worthless and ineffective as seat covers . Now we keep them rolled up in the back and use them as towels if needed. It’s a better use for them .Helpful (0)

Not as advertised. Not a seat cover.
Customer service was great. Product was advertised as a seat cover. However it’s a towel like material that just hangs off the headrest. It doesn’t fit the seat.Helpful (1)

I bought these to cover the leather seats when the top is off, they serve the purpose! I won't use them year round they move around a lot as there no way to secure them to the seat. But they do what I bought them for. They are a decent quality terrycloth also.Helpful (7)

I have dogs that shed. Does this fabric attract dog hair? Also you can wash dog hair out of certain fabrics, is this fabric a natural or polyester composite.
This fabric will likely attract dog hair however you should be able to wash it out.
Does this come with one or two seat covers?
This seat cover is sold individually.
Would these work in the back as well? (My 2015 Oscar Mike has head rests on the back bench)
Yes, you can use the Seat Armour Seat Cover - Jeep Letters Black (87-17 Wrangler YJ, TJ & JK) for the bench as well it just may not lay out as well as it does on the front seats.
Simple installation for anyone.
