Specs. Made of durable and solid aluminum, featuring an anodized black finish, this does not simply add horsepower and torque output, it also adds a bit of underhood aesthetics as well.

Construction. The Rugged Ridge throttle body spacer gives your engine increased air flow which in turn, unlocks power. With the cooler and denser flow, your Jeep will see an improvement in performance. The spacer moves your vehicle's throttle body up 1/2" away from your intake manifold, and helps to draw in a stronger and cooler flow of air. It is custom made to fit your Jeep, and the large bore design pulls in a larger volume of air. It comes backed by a 5 year limited warranty.

Application. This Rugged Ridge Throttle Body Spacer is specifically designed to be used on the 2007-2011 Wrangler JK models equipped with the 3.8L engine.

Will this make me have to get a tune. If I put a throttle body spacer and a cold air intake on my 2011 rubicon jk will I have to tune the computer so I do not throw a code, or is there anything else I need to do besides putting it on?

      It's okay

This products was iffy... not even sure if it made a difference, haven't dyno tuned my jeep for it yet. The lower right bolt was a pain to get on there because it hit a hose shown in the picture. took less than an hour to install though.

Very nice fit. Easy install. Can’t really tell much difference in performance but I added a cold air and programmer a few days before.

      Throttlebody spacer

I think I can tell a difference. Seems slight, but does take off better from a stop sign

      Didn't notice any improvement.

Easy install, but no noticeable difference. Does make a slightly annoying whine noise when at lower RPM.

      Easy Install

I'm not sure if there are performance gains but combined with the cold air intake, I love how it sounds. Installation was easy, probably an hour but along with the CAI, it took a couple of hours.

Very easy install just remove 4 bolts. I installed this at same time along with cold air intake. Really nice sound coming from engine compartment now.

      Not Bad.

It was fast and easy to install. I just don't know if it did a difference. I also install it with a cool air intake system. Good enough for me.

      Absolutely worth it.

For this price I thought why not. It took about 30 minutes for the entire install. However, I can't stress enough not to overtighten the bolts. We ended up cracking the throttle body. $150 later we have a new one in and I am very happy. In the last week I added the Red Rock Cold Air Intake and the Red Rock axle back dual exhaust as well. The Jeep sounds great and there is no doubt it is more responsive, but the most notable improvement is in the MPG's. I went from 11.2 to 16.2. Granted it has been unseasonably warm so I have not been using the remote start or running the heat as much, but even tonight when it cooled down I was still over 16.

      Great for the price!

Recieved the throttle body spacer for my jk a few weeks ago, it took me maybe 10 minutes at the max to install. Easy and straight forward only downside to it was the gasket that came with it had pre perforated holes that you have to punch out. Unfortunately for me I recieved one with three of the holes not there. Other than that it's a great product for the money it won't give you massive gains however I have noticed a faster throttle response and a slightly increased power to the wheels and about 1-2 mpg gain depending on where I drive.

      Lagging

Was having issues with my jeep lagging on the low end. After the install it's gone. Good product for cheap and easy to to install.
