      Video Review & Installation

This Rugged Ridge Three Layer Deluxe Cab Cover is for those of you having 1987-2006 Wrangler and are looking for a cab cover to put on your Jeep, while your top is down or your hard top is removed, to help keep the interior of your Jeep a little bit cleaner and a little bit drier. This is going to install very easily onto your Jeep, of course, because it is designed to come on and off. Often, you'll be able to get this installed in about five minutes and off again in about the same amount of time. But we'll talk more about that installation in just a second. Now, cab cover like this is, as I said before, designed to keep your interior a little bit cleaner and a little bit drier, whether you're parking overnight, and you're just trying to keep the dew off your interior, so your seats are dry when you hop in it in the morning, or you're trying to keep dust or maybe bird droppings out of your Jeep, a cab cover like this is absolutely going to do the job. And it's going to be a lot easier than putting your full soft top up and down over and over again and, of course, easier than installing and uninstalling your hard top. Now, there are going to be a couple different types of cab covers like this on the market. Some of them are going to come down and cover the entire area where the door would be. That's gonna be the type. And for those of you who often have your doors removed when you have your top removed this one's not going to cover that door area. It's just going to cover the main top area of your cab. And while this one is water-resistant, it is going to be a little bit lighter weight than some of the other ones out there. There are some that are more akin to a soft top tight material that are going to be more water-proof. Again, this is going to be water-resistant, so it will keep the dew out. It will keep your Jeep dry in a passing shower, but during some heavy rain that water is going to get through because this is a little bit lighter weight than some of the other cab covers out there. It's also going to be a little bit less expensive. As it says in the name, this is a three-layer cab cover. It's made of a 5.2 ounce composite fabric. A couple different layers in there are designed to keep this thing breathable. So if you do have any moisture inside the Jeep, it's going to be able to vent out. You're not going to get any mildew on the inside of your vehicle but at the same time make it water-resistant. This is going to have some elastic on the outside, reinforce straps that are going to allow you to attach it to your Jeep, again very, very easily, and uninstall it just as easily. So to get this installed on your Jeep, you just have to have your soft top folded back or your hard top removed. You'll throw this up on the top of the Jeep over the windshield frame and the sport cage, spin it around, so you figure out which end is the front, which end is the back, and then use the elastic straps and the adjustable buckles to attach everything to the bottom of the tub. That way the wind can't lift it off and take it away. Very simple one out of three wrench installation. Again, less than five minutes to get it installed and uninstalled. This Rugged Ridge cab cover comes in just over $60, and I do think that's gonna be a pretty fair price for what you're getting here. As I said before, if you want something that's heavier duty, that is a little bit more waterproof, you want something that's made of a heavier material, those options do exist and they are going to be more expensive. If you want something that's like this, gonna be a little bit of lighter material, water-resistant, a little bit of a lighter level of protection, and you wanna save some money, this is gonna be a good option. So if you want a cab cover that's gonna keep your cab dry and clean when you have your top down, I definitely recommend this option from Rugged Ridge, and you can find it right here at
