Description
Intake. Rugged Ridge performance high flow filters are constructed from a synthetic fabric and not cotton. The downside to cotton filters is that they must be oiled in order to trap the small dirt particles encountered when off-road, however the synthetic fabric this filter is woven from is able to do this without ever being oiled.
Filter Specs. This Synthetic panel air filter made by Rugged Ridge is designed to fit without any modifications to your factory air box, keeping installation simple. With this filter you get improved performance and can reuse it without ever having to re-oil, just remove, shake, rinse and let dry.
Additional Features. An engine is like a person in the fact that when you can breath easier, you can perform better. With the Rugged Ridge synthetic panel filter you are able to increase flow rate without compromising it's ability to filter dust and debris from the air, all while being able rinse and reuse the filter after some off-roading in rough conditions. Keep your Wrangler breathing right and easily so it can bring you into the unknown and back time after time again.
Application. This Rugged Ridge Reusable Synthetic Air Filter is designed to be a direct fit replacement for all 1997-2006 2.5L or 4.0L TJ Wranglers with the factory air box.
