Key Features. Never fear draining your battery while running accessories again. This Dual Battery Tray replaces the OEM tray, giving you space for two batteries, or twice the electrical storage. Run your winch, extra lights or whatever else necessary without getting stranded or needing a jump afterward. The setup can work with traditional acid or more modern gel batteries, plus is backed by a 5 year limited warranty.

Construction. Because the batteries can get hot or leak, the Dual Battery Tray is made of durable steel. A black powder coat gives it a finished look, plus resists scratching or other damage and even wipes down easily for a great look. The kit includes the tray, fuse box bracket, battery strap, J-bolt, nut, flat washer, bolt and a spacer.

Installation. This is not necessarily a difficult component to install, since it bolts into place, but you will need some moderate to advanced wiring skills afterward to hook up both batteries. You will need a utility knife and a socket wrench for this job, and plan to set aside about an hour or two for completion. Aside from just bolting the new tray into place where the old tray was, you will need to make some modifications to the factory battery box, but they are nothing too advanced.

Application. This Dual Battery Tray has been designed to fit on 2007-2011 Jeep Wranglers and 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimiteds (JK and JKU).

        3 2008 Rubicon - 2jka

        mising parts, poor instuctions

The factory provided instructions were terribly unclear. I had rely on the installation video created by a competitor who had a similar product. to be sure of anything. While the actual install was easy the trouble shooting and figuring was not. Beyond that, the product did not come with all of it's hardware. The bolts needed to bind the two halves of this product together were not provided. Had to purchase those separately. Otherwise, item was well packed, decently constructed, and seems to be doing it's job.

        5 2007 Wrangler - MikeS

        Excellent fit and finish

The install was a little more involved than I expected, but still only takes a couple hours to complete. The fit was perfect and instructions were very clear. You will need to resuse part of the old battery tray (requires cutting of old plastic battery tray). Also, the air box will have to come out completely which meant taking my snorkel off. If installing the rugged ridge relay, install it on the support brace BEFORE putting the tray in. Its very hard to reach otherwise.

        5 2009 Wrangler - Goliath

        Nice tray

Install was easy and straight forward, instructions cover everything. Everything liNed up nicely and was a snap to get working. Longest part of the process was fighting the mud buildup I had.

you can never have enough power

the Dual tray is very strong and has a nice finish. the batteries fit in nicely and are very secure which is important as you off road . id like to say I did this mod to better utilize my winch but really I take my teenagers on a 2-3 week camping trip every summer off the grid and they are constantly charging something. now I don't have to worry we will be stuck. the install was easy enough after the disassembly of the original battery tray which could have used a few more instructions/pictures.

        Dual Battery

The battery holder was very difficult to intall, I could not remove the fuse holder assembly. It was like stuffing 10lbs of XXXX in a 5lb bucket. It can be done with a lot swearing. I wanted the daul battery due to the electric plow, and after market lights.
