Description
Reduces Steering Linkage Angles On Lifted Jeeps. Acting as a linkage to the steering box sector shaft, the pitman arm converts the shaft’s angular motion to the linear motion needed to steer the wheels. But what if you lift your Jeep Wrangler YJ’s suspension by 2.5 inches or higher? You will need to reduce the linkage angles to maintain proper wheel steering. And that’s what the Rubicon Express Manual Steering Drop Pitman Arm for 2.5+ in. Lift is for. With installation, you will not have to worry about dealing with the inability to steer or the vehicle wandering to one side or the other.
Covered by Lifetime Limited Warranty. Rubicon Express warranties this pitman arm to be free from defects in workmanship and materials throughout the period of ownership.
Medium-Level Installation. A pitman arm puller is recommended for completing installation of this part, which can take an hour to accomplish.
Application. The Rubicon Express Manual Steering Drop Pitman Arm for 2.5+ in. Lift fits all 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models. It is sold individually.
