This bolt-on steel unit bolts on to your hinge and spare tire mounting points, providing increased support for your flimsy rear swing-out gate, prone to increased wear and tear on rough terrain on its own.

      Black Powder Coated Finish. This unit comes with a powder coated finish for rust and abrasion resistance, withstanding all of the punishment the trails have to offer.

      Warranty. This product is protected by a lifetime warranty by Rough Country, which protects against defects in materials and workmanship from the manufacturer. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for lack of maintenance or improper use.

      Installation. It should take no more than 1 hour to install this tailgate reinforcement kit if you have moderate to expert level mechanical skills.
