This cold air intake’s free-flowing design and high flow air filter work together to provide your engine with elevated amounts of cold air, ensuring maximum fuel combustion. No ECU Re-Tuning Required. This cold air intake’s combination of free-flowing design and the less restrictive air filter is responsible for all your performance gains and does not require you to re-tune your ECU. Still, providing your ECU with a re-tune in the future is still worth considering. This is because a re-tune will sync your Jeep’s performance with the cold air intake, giving you the best performance possible.
Reusable Premium Air Filter. This cold air intake helps protect the engine from contamination via the included premium air filter. This filter uses a special filter media designed to provide efficient filtration without compromising airflow. Additionally, this air filter is easy to clean and completely reusable, which helps reduce the cost of regular filter replacement, thus helping you save some cash.
Wear-Resistant Build Quality. This cold air intake features an air inlet tube that’s machine-formed to exact specifications from high-quality alloy for a component that maximizes airflow. Similarly, this assembly includes a machine-formed alloy heat shield designed to protect the air filter from engine bay heat. Finally, this assembly is finished in a wear-resistant black powder coating, offering superior corrosion protection and a striking under-the-hood style.
