Description
Safe Recovery. Trucks with winch hooks can be pulled safely, but for extra security and reliability, you can’t go wrong with this Rough Country Aluminum Winch Shackle/Thimble. It has a load rating of 17,000 Pounds and is stronger than the previous model. You can use the shackle with synthetic ropes or wire cables measuring up to 0.50 Inches without an issue.
Beyond Tough. While not steel, Rough Country uses Aircraft Grade 6061 T-6 Billet Aluminum, meaning this aluminum shackle/thimble is CNC-machined out of a solid block. Therefore, it’s durable and less prone to cracking when compared to a stamped product. There’s also a glossy black powder coating that you can’t help but admire.
Direct Installation. If your vehicle has a 7/8-Inch or 3/4-Inch D-Ring, you can instantly mount this shackle/thimble onto it. Any other D-Ring sizes won’t work, but the process takes very little time and requires no modifications. You only need some hand tools and essential mechanical skills to install this model successfully.
Two-Year Warranty. Rough Country has a 2-year limited warranty protecting this Aluminum Winch Shackle/Thimble. You can find out more from the manufacturer's official website.
Application. This Aluminum Winch Shackle/Thimble will work with any vehicle with a 7/8-Inch or 3/4-Inch D-Ring. Your rope or wire can be up to 0.50 Inches in diameter.
