This is especially true if you have lifted your Jeep and installed larger tires, since that would offset the gear ratio and result in a slower-turning driveshaft and engine. These ring and pinion gears will tame your new suspension configuration to stock settings while increasing power and torque for optimal driving performance and fuel efficiency on less-than-smooth terrain.
Quality, Long-Lasting Construction. Not only are these gears forged from high-quality, 8620-grade steel, but they are also heat-treated. This manner of manufacture ensures that they are extremely hard and possess maximum strength and durability.
Professional Installation Recommended. The installation of ring and pinion gears can be a very intricate process. Therefore, mechanical experience is highly recommended; it can take up to 4 hours to install the gears. Follow the included instructions for best results.
