      Just wow!

Just wow. So for my late model TJ I always felt like I was sitting on the floor. I had heard rumors that the earlier TJs didn't have that problem. I was torn, fancy new custom seats ($500 ), junkyard seats ($100ish), and these. And you know what? These were perfect. Stock seats, added boost. Easy install, low costs. Really, you can't do much better.

      Risers you'll want

These are simple enough and work well. If you by replacement seats chances are you will need them to retain the original seat hat.

      Rough Country Seat Risers

I purchased these to go with my Corbeau Baja Offroad seats and the visibility they provided is outstanding. I wouldn't recommend a seat upgrade without including these.

      Seat Riser 1 1/4"

Seat Riser works well. Supplier is looking into my order. I ordered 1" seat riser as was showing in there ad. They sent me 1 1/4" seat riser. I contacted them. I will try see if to this will work. I'm 6'2" man. It's only 1/4" more higher. Works well. Now they'll be short in inventory now. Just FYI to keep inventory straight on my end.

      RC Seat it!

I'm 5'11" and I never liked how low I sat in my '05 or '06 LJ. Especially hard to see over the hood climbing up rough, rocky trails. I never imagined 1" (actually more like 1.25") Seat lift would make that much of a difference, but it did! Simple to install. 4 bolts per seat base. 10-15 minutes for whole project. Two final words: Do it!

      1" seat risers

I am 6' tall and before I installed this kit I was unable to see the hood. Now I can and I still have plenty of head room.

Rough Country 1 in. Seat Risers

First off, these are 1.25" risers, not 1". Probably not all that noticeable, but elsewhere they're sold as 1.25" - I thought these would be different. More of a pain than I thought it install, just make sure the screws go in straight, which can be tricky.

      Great product!

The whole family loves these. I'm 5'10 and still get great benefit from increased range of view this creates. Easy to install, but if you have an old, rusty Jeep, take your time with the bolts, especially the torx bolt. Spray them with a penetrating oil and let sit for a bit, and longer for rustier tubs. Don't back them straight out; loosen a little, then tighten a little, loosen more, then tighten a little, etc.

      Rough Country 1" seat riser

Added this to my 05 TJ recently. The installation is very straight forward with the only issue being the pain in the neck Torex at the inside rear mount of both seats. The instructions call for a 55 Torex which I did not have, but discovered the instructions were wrong, it is actually a 45 Torex, which I did have. Expect to need a good size breaker bar on those Torex head screws, but the other bolts will come out easily. Remove the rears first, slide the seat back and undo the fronts. Slip the spacers under both fronts and start the front bolts but don't completely tighten. Flip the seat forward, install the rear spacers using the special bolt provided under the spot where the Torex was. Tighten all down and you are done. The extra inch gives an improved seating position, well worth the small price.
