Are these flares textured or smooth? I have a 2001 tj 60th anniversary addition with smooth painted fenders flares like a Sahara?

        • These flares are the same textured finish like the normal OEM fender flares you would find on a regular TJ

            Oem fender flares

They look just as good as the oem flares. The front is much easier than the rear . A 8 mm ratchet wrench is a must have I also recommend neversieze forthe factory well nuts . You will need some fasteners to reinstall the rear inner fender plastic you will have to remove this to get to the backside.

4 2002 Wrangler - GaryC Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

            Exact fit

Easy install. Don't know why I waited so long to replace them. Got tired of trying to keep the old grey ones black. Makes the jeep look fresh. The only challenge was with one rivet nut, which required replacement. Luckily I have a rivet nut tool. I would suggest PB Blasting the bolts before trying to loosen them. That might help avoid a spinning rivet nut.

            Looks like new!

These look great on my 04 LJ! I still had my factory stock fenders in there before so I did have a little trouble taking them off. A little side note for putting these fenders on, start with the small middle piece first, and then you can put on the front fenders.

            5 1999 Wrangler - DavidC

            Perfect fit

Everything fit perfect, holes lined up without any problem. Take the time to clean up your rig once you get the old ones off, and while you have the rear wheel well liners loose. Takes awhile longer then is stated but is worth the time. Regular ratcheting wrenches work better then a socket wrench.

Bought the six piece kit, with fasteners. The form and fit looks great. Easy to install. Very pleased with the product at this point. Will be interesting to see how they hold up from a UV perspective.

            Very good, fade easy

Not too hard to install once you fiddle around. Give a good look compared to old faded fenders. Don't leave in sun too long cause they fade easy.

            Good Value

Getting the old ones off was a chore and a half; install not too bad once the old ones are off. The finish on these is a little different than Mopar, but they are an excellent value for the price.

            Quality and fit superb

Cheated...was putting on new fenders so I mounted the front flares before attaching the fenders. Holes lined up perfectly, but I chose not to use the small nutserts included in the hardware package. Stepped up to 1/4" instead, with quality bolts. Rear flares went on equally as well with total hole alignment. Great new look to a stock TJ

            More flare..

Had local mechanic, John, put the front and rear fender flares on my '97 Jeep Wrangler! Before, I had a basic white Jeep with the black canvas with the black fender flares it has the Jeep look I wanted. Luv driving it on country roads shooting old barns (with my camera!) .
