      Hi, guys, so today we're checking out the RedRock 4x4 Cowl Vent Air Scoop, fitting all 2007 through 2018 JK Wranglers. So if you're in search of some small and affordable mods for your Jeep that's gonna add a little bit of functionality and a more sporty look to your Wrangler, then this is gonna be a great choice to take a look into.Now, this scoop is gonna go right above that vent on the cowl and that's gonna direct air flow into your engine bay, helping out with air temperatures and creating a cooler environment, which is very important while you're on the trail. Now, this is not only gonna do just that, it's gonna add a little bit of extra styling, especially with that textured black finish on top. And it's also gonna be durable; made of a durable ABS material.Now, that's going to hold up on the trail and again, it's going to add to a sporty, off-road look that you may be looking to achieve with your Wrangler, especially if you have a bright color like this, it's gonna add a nice pop of contrast and that textured black finish is gonna match with any other heavy-duty accessories that you have on your Wrangler.Now, this will be attached with heavy-duty, automotive-grade 3M tape so you can ensure that this is going to stay in place for the long run and it's not gonna go anywhere once it is mounted up to your Wrangler. It's also gonna be very easy to install. Now, with that being said, this is gonna come in at roughly $50 and for a small and functional mod, I think that that's a good price. Now, some other options in comparison to this are going to be set up very similar. Some other choices may just come with a difference finish, like a matte black finish or a gloss black finish, in comparison to this one that is textured.Now, there are some other options for venting available for your hood, but usually that is going to require modification and it's going to sit down on the hood further instead of sitting up on the cowl. So if you're looking for a little bit of extra venting to your Wrangler and you're also looking to add more of a sporty look to the front end, this is gonna be one of the more affordable options and a great choice by RedRock.Now, as far as install is concerned, like I said, this is going to use 3M tape to be attached so it's a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're not gonna need any tools for this install. You're only gonna need about 20 minutes' worth of your time. So speaking of that install, let's jump into that now.So before we go ahead and attach our vent cover, I would like to mention that you want the area where we're attaching it to clean and ready to go. That's just going to help out the adhesion process for the 3M on the back. But once you've already done that, what we can do is just peel off the backing on the back of our 3M, we can stick it on, hold it down for about 30 seconds, and we'll be all good to go.What we can do at this point is line this up where we want to stick it down, give it a good press...and we'll be all good to go.So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
