0:00:01.260,0:00:05.670hey guys so today I'm here with the0:00:02.970,0:00:07.560Redrock 4x4 crawler max full width from0:00:05.670,0:00:10.590bumper with the winch mount hitting all0:00:07.560,0:00:12.2702018 and newer Jail Wranglers so this is0:00:10.590,0:00:14.730gonna be for the jail owner looking for0:00:12.270,0:00:16.740a very functional from bumper but with0:00:14.730,0:00:18.750some custom styling that stands out from0:00:16.740,0:00:20.339all those other heavy duty options that0:00:18.750,0:00:22.439you may be taking a look at on the page0:00:20.339,0:00:24.480so this is going to offer you a number0:00:22.439,0:00:26.730of different benefits first off you do0:00:24.480,0:00:28.349have the stubby steel plating design in0:00:26.730,0:00:30.630the middle that's going to offer you0:00:28.349,0:00:32.579recovery points a winch plate as well as0:00:30.630,0:00:34.739light mounting options and then you also0:00:32.579,0:00:36.600have the tube design up top as well as0:00:34.739,0:00:38.550on the ends to provide you full front0:00:36.600,0:00:40.370end protection protecting to your tires0:00:38.550,0:00:42.840as well as your grill without0:00:40.370,0:00:44.879compromising any approach angles on the0:00:42.840,0:00:47.100trail so not to mention this hybrid0:00:44.879,0:00:48.989design is just going to all-around give0:00:47.100,0:00:50.340you a more aggressive look while staying0:00:48.989,0:00:52.949very different than those other0:00:50.340,0:00:54.390heavy-duty options like I mentioned so0:00:52.949,0:00:56.489this is gonna be for that jay'll owner0:00:54.390,0:00:58.289looking for a front bumper that makes0:00:56.489,0:01:00.059their rig stand out so this is gonna be0:00:58.289,0:01:02.579roughly four hundred dollars making this0:01:00.059,0:01:04.530a very affordable option as far as a0:01:02.579,0:01:06.030full width from bumper goes so full0:01:04.530,0:01:08.400width front bumpers are usually a little0:01:06.030,0:01:09.810bit more expensive because of the extra0:01:08.400,0:01:11.910benefits that they offer as far as0:01:09.810,0:01:13.620protection goes so those less expensive0:01:11.910,0:01:16.170options are usually going to consist of0:01:13.620,0:01:16.980stubby front bumpers as well as mid with0:01:16.170,0:01:19.140front bumpers0:01:16.980,0:01:21.150however this in comparison to some other0:01:19.140,0:01:22.800more expensive options for full with0:01:21.150,0:01:24.900front bumpers is a little bit less0:01:22.800,0:01:26.940expensive just because of the tube0:01:24.900,0:01:28.770design and the hybrid design overall0:01:26.940,0:01:30.540however you're not compromising any0:01:28.770,0:01:33.060functionality with this and you still0:01:30.540,0:01:35.220are getting a ton of utility as well as0:01:33.060,0:01:37.440a ton of aggressive styling out of this0:01:35.220,0:01:38.910front bumper so overall in my opinion I0:01:37.440,0:01:40.410think this comes with every standard0:01:38.910,0:01:42.150feature that you would want out of a0:01:40.410,0:01:44.220full width from bumper at a very0:01:42.150,0:01:45.870affordable price point so installs gonna0:01:44.220,0:01:48.150be a very easy one out of three wrenches0:01:45.870,0:01:50.100on the difficulty meter probably taking0:01:48.150,0:01:51.990you about two hours to get the job done0:01:50.100,0:01:53.310with some basic hand tools so speaking0:01:51.990,0:01:55.440of the install it's jump through that0:01:53.310,0:01:57.360now the tools that I use for my install0:01:55.440,0:02:00.180were an impact wrench an 18 millimeter0:01:57.360,0:02:01.84016 millimeter 8 millimeter and 70:02:00.180,0:02:03.939millimeter deep socket a 60:02:01.840,0:02:06.939shallow socket a 3/8 inch drive ratchet0:02:03.939,0:02:08.979put your removal tool and a flathead0:02:06.939,0:02:10.840screwdriver so our first couple of steps0:02:08.979,0:02:12.910are going to include taking off our0:02:10.840,0:02:15.220upper splash guard as well as our lower0:02:12.910,0:02:16.870and then we can fully remove our bumper0:02:15.220,0:02:17.650and now for the upper splash guard0:02:16.870,0:02:20.019you're going to need a flathead0:02:17.650,0:02:22.450screwdriver or a trim removal tool and0:02:20.019,0:02:24.160we're going to pop off the eight top0:02:22.450,0:02:26.410clips that are holding in the splash0:02:24.160,0:02:29.560guard so you're gonna have two in the0:02:26.410,0:02:34.049frame rail on the bottom of your splash0:02:29.560,0:02:36.970guard we can just push that pops it up0:02:34.049,0:02:39.610pull it out and then you're gonna have0:02:36.970,0:02:41.590six along the front now you don't0:02:39.610,0:02:43.900necessarily need to take off these six0:02:41.590,0:02:45.849long along the front I'm just doing it0:02:43.900,0:02:48.069just to give you guys a better view on0:02:45.849,0:02:54.069how we're actually going to take off the0:02:48.069,0:02:56.530bumper now like I said you can also use0:02:54.069,0:02:58.209a trim removal tool to do this however I0:02:56.530,0:03:00.430think a flathead is a little bit easier0:02:58.209,0:03:02.769than our removal tool just because there0:03:00.430,0:03:05.280are indents on the side to pull up that0:03:02.769,0:03:05.280tab0:03:14.980,0:03:19.300now I would like to mention if you have0:03:16.810,0:03:21.700a sport model front bumper there will be0:03:19.300,0:03:23.050two seven millimeter screws behind here0:03:21.700,0:03:25.209that you will need to remove0:03:23.050,0:03:30.000however we are working on a Sahara here0:03:25.209,0:03:30.000so we do not have those RM from bumper0:03:32.519,0:03:37.720so now we can fully remove this upper0:03:34.900,0:03:39.519splash guard out of the way so now that0:03:37.720,0:03:41.470we're underneath our Jeep we are at the0:03:39.519,0:03:43.420lower splash guard here we are gonna0:03:41.470,0:03:46.269remove the two eight millimeter bolts in0:03:43.420,0:03:47.680these risks test holes on either side of0:03:46.269,0:03:49.269our lower splash guard so I'm going to0:03:47.680,0:03:52.470use a neat little meter deep socket and0:03:49.269,0:03:52.470impact wrench to get those off0:04:00.530,0:04:04.670so now we can remove the eight pop clips0:04:02.840,0:04:06.560that are holding in the front of our0:04:04.670,0:04:08.420splash guard I'm going to be using a0:04:06.560,0:04:10.690trim removal tool in order to remove0:04:08.420,0:04:10.690those0:04:25.020,0:04:33.080so after our final pop clip is removed0:04:28.740,0:04:33.080we can fully remove our splash guard0:04:38.680,0:04:42.580so our next step is to remove this lower0:04:40.900,0:04:44.440skid plate and get it out of the way so0:04:42.580,0:04:45.970we can access our bolts on our bumper0:04:44.440,0:04:47.979I'm gonna be using a 16 millimeter0:04:45.970,0:04:50.370socket to remove the two bolts that are0:04:47.979,0:04:50.370holding it0:04:54.639,0:05:06.019so after that is removed we can slide0:04:57.589,0:05:07.969our get plate up so there is a trim0:05:06.019,0:05:10.549piece here I did remove it in order to0:05:07.969,0:05:12.349give you guys a better look at the studs0:05:10.549,0:05:14.959coming through our frame rail I'm going0:05:12.349,0:05:16.849to be removing these two nuts with an 180:05:14.959,0:05:19.119millimeter deep socket and my impact0:05:16.849,0:05:19.119wrench0:05:28.250,0:05:32.810now we can repeat that on these six0:05:30.500,0:05:34.310other steps so now on the inside of your0:05:32.810,0:05:36.440frame rail you're going to have the same0:05:34.310,0:05:38.750two studs and we're going to remove0:05:36.440,0:05:41.330those two nuts with that same 180:05:38.750,0:05:43.190millimeter socket however you may want0:05:41.330,0:05:44.660to use a hand ratchet because it is0:05:43.190,0:05:46.900difficult to get an impact wrench in0:05:44.660,0:05:46.900here0:06:21.460,0:06:27.180now we can do the same thing for the0:06:23.170,0:06:27.180other side for those inner studs0:07:13.159,0:07:18.270so now before we can remove our factory0:07:15.810,0:07:20.490bumper we do need to disconnect our main0:07:18.270,0:07:24.620fog light wiring harness all you have to0:07:20.490,0:07:27.240do is to press that clip and pull back0:07:24.620,0:07:29.580and it'll pop right out now we can0:07:27.240,0:07:31.560remove our bumper so now we can take off0:07:29.580,0:07:33.960of our bumper just by pulling back and0:07:31.560,0:07:35.939getting this out of the way so what we0:07:33.960,0:07:37.860need to do now is remove our fog lights0:07:35.939,0:07:39.360from our front bumper now this is the0:07:37.860,0:07:41.099Sahara front bumper it's gonna be a0:07:39.360,0:07:43.439little bit different from the rubicon as0:07:41.099,0:07:45.539well as the base model sport0:07:43.439,0:07:47.250however the sport model is gonna be a0:07:45.539,0:07:49.949little bit easier but you will still be0:07:47.250,0:07:52.379using these same tools so first we're0:07:49.949,0:07:55.050gonna go ahead and unplug our fog lights0:07:52.379,0:07:57.180and then we can take a seven millimeter0:07:55.050,0:07:59.219socket and go ahead and remove the four0:07:57.180,0:08:01.460screws that are holding in each fog0:07:59.219,0:08:01.460light0:08:13.690,0:08:18.750and we can remove0:08:16.080,0:08:20.870boggling the same thing for the other0:08:18.750,0:08:20.870side0:08:32.740,0:08:37.540so what we need to do now is remove our0:08:35.020,0:08:39.220wiring harness for our fog lights now0:08:37.540,0:08:41.320there is a front and a back plastic0:08:39.220,0:08:43.930piece that we need to separate in order0:08:41.320,0:08:45.340to expose that wiring harness to remove0:08:43.930,0:08:47.080it so I'm going to take a seven0:08:45.340,0:08:49.660millimeter socket and remove all of the0:08:47.080,0:08:57.100screws that are holding in the plastic0:08:49.660,0:09:01.410pieces together they're basically going0:08:57.100,0:09:01.410to be the perimeter of the whole bumper0:09:14.300,0:09:20.380there is one missing firm here but there0:09:16.700,0:09:23.270is another one we can continue0:09:20.380,0:09:26.990so this plastics pretty delicate so if0:09:23.270,0:09:28.940you did strip one this one is stripped I0:09:26.990,0:09:32.390just put a flathead screwdriver behind0:09:28.940,0:09:34.910it and just push it up on the square0:09:32.390,0:09:37.510just to get it out and we can continue0:09:34.910,0:09:37.510down the side0:09:55.000,0:09:58.930so now that all of our screws are0:09:56.589,0:10:00.459removed I'm gonna start unclipping the0:09:58.930,0:10:02.139clips that are holding in the exposed0:10:00.459,0:10:07.269part of our wiring harness I'm just0:10:02.139,0:10:08.949using a trim removal tool to do so then0:10:07.269,0:10:12.300we can move over to the other side where0:10:08.949,0:10:12.300our other harness is exposed0:10:18.790,0:10:23.410so what we can do now is separate the0:10:20.860,0:10:26.260front piece from the rest of the bumper0:10:23.410,0:10:29.560so I'm going to pull this back portion0:10:26.260,0:10:31.860up and we have to move it around our tow0:10:29.560,0:10:31.860hooks0:10:38.540,0:10:43.019so we can take that off and then that's0:10:40.649,0:10:44.339going to expose our wiring harness so0:10:43.019,0:10:46.230now with the trim and movable tool that0:10:44.339,0:10:47.670we use before we can go ahead and pop0:10:46.230,0:10:51.230off the series of clips that are holding0:10:47.670,0:10:51.230in our wiring harness0:11:19.920,0:11:23.500so before we go ahead and install our0:11:22.060,0:11:24.910new front bumper I did want to tell you0:11:23.500,0:11:27.100guys a little bit more about it in0:11:24.910,0:11:28.900comparison to your factory front bumper0:11:27.100,0:11:30.970now right off the bat this is going to0:11:28.900,0:11:32.590offer you a ton more functionality than0:11:30.970,0:11:34.480your factory from bumper is able to0:11:32.590,0:11:36.280offer you however is still going to be0:11:34.480,0:11:38.170the same length so you still are getting0:11:36.280,0:11:40.660full front end protection you're getting0:11:38.170,0:11:42.820front tire protection as well as a bull0:11:40.660,0:11:44.170bar or a crash bar up top that's going0:11:42.820,0:11:45.970to protect a little bit more of your0:11:44.170,0:11:47.680grille than your factory bumper would0:11:45.970,0:11:49.570now even though this is still going to0:11:47.680,0:11:51.160be roughly a the same length that0:11:49.570,0:11:53.020standard width or a full width front0:11:51.160,0:11:55.060bumper this is still gonna have angled0:11:53.020,0:11:57.250ends up on the side with the tube design0:11:55.060,0:11:59.950so it's going to allow you for a better0:11:57.250,0:12:01.930approach angles off-road as well as some0:11:59.950,0:12:03.880larger wheels and tires now this is0:12:01.930,0:12:05.950gonna be a lot more durable as well made0:12:03.880,0:12:07.750of a cold rolled steel and it's got a0:12:05.950,0:12:09.400nice two-stage black textured powder0:12:07.750,0:12:11.320coat finish on top which is gonna0:12:09.400,0:12:13.060protect that steel underneath from any0:12:11.320,0:12:14.560rust or corrosion what it's also gonna0:12:13.060,0:12:17.050do is create an aggressive and more0:12:14.560,0:12:18.100off-road feel to your Wrangler now you0:12:17.050,0:12:19.420are getting a couple of different0:12:18.100,0:12:21.400benefits that your front bumper is0:12:19.420,0:12:23.380unable to offer you like I mentioned you0:12:21.400,0:12:25.270are getting that grill protection you do0:12:23.380,0:12:27.730get a tube bull bar with a couple of0:12:25.270,0:12:29.590reinforcement tubes up there you also0:12:27.730,0:12:31.690are getting two recovery points two0:12:29.590,0:12:33.670d-ring mount points on the front for0:12:31.690,0:12:36.070some safer and more efficient recovery0:12:33.670,0:12:38.350points than your factory tow hooks were0:12:36.070,0:12:40.360able to allow and you're also getting a0:12:38.350,0:12:42.280drop-in winch plate now this is gonna be0:12:40.360,0:12:44.290a little bit lower than some of the0:12:42.280,0:12:46.420other top mounted options on the page0:12:44.290,0:12:48.730but your factory front bumper is unable0:12:46.420,0:12:50.230to offer eight which plate at all so0:12:48.730,0:12:52.240that is a benefit there and it's gonna0:12:50.230,0:12:54.760be able to hold a winch with up to a0:12:52.240,0:12:56.47012,000 pounds pulling capacity as well0:12:54.760,0:12:58.540so there's a couple of other things you0:12:56.470,0:13:00.010do get to like mounting tabs up top
