0:00:01.260,0:00:05.670 hey guys so today I'm here with the 0:00:02.970,0:00:07.560 Redrock 4x4 crawler max full width from 0:00:05.670,0:00:10.590 bumper with the winch mount hitting all 0:00:07.560,0:00:12.270 2018 and newer Jail Wranglers so this is 0:00:10.590,0:00:14.730 gonna be for the jail owner looking for 0:00:12.270,0:00:16.740 a very functional from bumper but with 0:00:14.730,0:00:18.750 some custom styling that stands out from 0:00:16.740,0:00:20.339 all those other heavy duty options that 0:00:18.750,0:00:22.439 you may be taking a look at on the page 0:00:20.339,0:00:24.480 so this is going to offer you a number 0:00:22.439,0:00:26.730 of different benefits first off you do 0:00:24.480,0:00:28.349 have the stubby steel plating design in 0:00:26.730,0:00:30.630 the middle that's going to offer you 0:00:28.349,0:00:32.579 recovery points a winch plate as well as 0:00:30.630,0:00:34.739 light mounting options and then you also 0:00:32.579,0:00:36.600 have the tube design up top as well as 0:00:34.739,0:00:38.550 on the ends to provide you full front 0:00:36.600,0:00:40.370 end protection protecting to your tires 0:00:38.550,0:00:42.840 as well as your grill without 0:00:40.370,0:00:44.879 compromising any approach angles on the 0:00:42.840,0:00:47.100 trail so not to mention this hybrid 0:00:44.879,0:00:48.989 design is just going to all-around give 0:00:47.100,0:00:50.340 you a more aggressive look while staying 0:00:48.989,0:00:52.949 very different than those other 0:00:50.340,0:00:54.390 heavy-duty options like I mentioned so 0:00:52.949,0:00:56.489 this is gonna be for that jay'll owner 0:00:54.390,0:00:58.289 looking for a front bumper that makes 0:00:56.489,0:01:00.059 their rig stand out so this is gonna be 0:00:58.289,0:01:02.579 roughly four hundred dollars making this 0:01:00.059,0:01:04.530 a very affordable option as far as a 0:01:02.579,0:01:06.030 full width from bumper goes so full 0:01:04.530,0:01:08.400 width front bumpers are usually a little 0:01:06.030,0:01:09.810 bit more expensive because of the extra 0:01:08.400,0:01:11.910 benefits that they offer as far as 0:01:09.810,0:01:13.620 protection goes so those less expensive 0:01:11.910,0:01:16.170 options are usually going to consist of 0:01:13.620,0:01:16.980 stubby front bumpers as well as mid with 0:01:16.170,0:01:19.140 front bumpers 0:01:16.980,0:01:21.150 however this in comparison to some other 0:01:19.140,0:01:22.800 more expensive options for full with 0:01:21.150,0:01:24.900 front bumpers is a little bit less 0:01:22.800,0:01:26.940 expensive just because of the tube 0:01:24.900,0:01:28.770 design and the hybrid design overall 0:01:26.940,0:01:30.540 however you're not compromising any 0:01:28.770,0:01:33.060 functionality with this and you still 0:01:30.540,0:01:35.220 are getting a ton of utility as well as 0:01:33.060,0:01:37.440 a ton of aggressive styling out of this 0:01:35.220,0:01:38.910 front bumper so overall in my opinion I 0:01:37.440,0:01:40.410 think this comes with every standard 0:01:38.910,0:01:42.150 feature that you would want out of a 0:01:40.410,0:01:44.220 full width from bumper at a very 0:01:42.150,0:01:45.870 affordable price point so installs gonna 0:01:44.220,0:01:48.150 be a very easy one out of three wrenches 0:01:45.870,0:01:50.100 on the difficulty meter probably taking 0:01:48.150,0:01:51.990 you about two hours to get the job done 0:01:50.100,0:01:53.310 with some basic hand tools so speaking 0:01:51.990,0:01:55.440 of the install it's jump through that 0:01:53.310,0:01:57.360 now the tools that I use for my install 0:01:55.440,0:02:00.180 were an impact wrench an 18 millimeter 0:01:57.360,0:02:01.840 16 millimeter 8 millimeter and 7 0:02:00.180,0:02:03.939 millimeter deep socket a 6 0:02:01.840,0:02:06.939 shallow socket a 3/8 inch drive ratchet 0:02:03.939,0:02:08.979 put your removal tool and a flathead 0:02:06.939,0:02:10.840 screwdriver so our first couple of steps 0:02:08.979,0:02:12.910 are going to include taking off our 0:02:10.840,0:02:15.220 upper splash guard as well as our lower 0:02:12.910,0:02:16.870 and then we can fully remove our bumper 0:02:15.220,0:02:17.650 and now for the upper splash guard 0:02:16.870,0:02:20.019 you're going to need a flathead 0:02:17.650,0:02:22.450 screwdriver or a trim removal tool and 0:02:20.019,0:02:24.160 we're going to pop off the eight top 0:02:22.450,0:02:26.410 clips that are holding in the splash 0:02:24.160,0:02:29.560 guard so you're gonna have two in the 0:02:26.410,0:02:34.049 frame rail on the bottom of your splash 0:02:29.560,0:02:36.970 guard we can just push that pops it up 0:02:34.049,0:02:39.610 pull it out and then you're gonna have 0:02:36.970,0:02:41.590 six along the front now you don't 0:02:39.610,0:02:43.900 necessarily need to take off these six 0:02:41.590,0:02:45.849 long along the front I'm just doing it 0:02:43.900,0:02:48.069 just to give you guys a better view on 0:02:45.849,0:02:54.069 how we're actually going to take off the 0:02:48.069,0:02:56.530 bumper now like I said you can also use 0:02:54.069,0:02:58.209 a trim removal tool to do this however I 0:02:56.530,0:03:00.430 think a flathead is a little bit easier 0:02:58.209,0:03:02.769 than our removal tool just because there 0:03:00.430,0:03:05.280 are indents on the side to pull up that 0:03:02.769,0:03:05.280 tab 0:03:14.980,0:03:19.300 now I would like to mention if you have 0:03:16.810,0:03:21.700 a sport model front bumper there will be 0:03:19.300,0:03:23.050 two seven millimeter screws behind here 0:03:21.700,0:03:25.209 that you will need to remove 0:03:23.050,0:03:30.000 however we are working on a Sahara here 0:03:25.209,0:03:30.000 so we do not have those RM from bumper 0:03:32.519,0:03:37.720 so now we can fully remove this upper 0:03:34.900,0:03:39.519 splash guard out of the way so now that 0:03:37.720,0:03:41.470 we're underneath our Jeep we are at the 0:03:39.519,0:03:43.420 lower splash guard here we are gonna 0:03:41.470,0:03:46.269 remove the two eight millimeter bolts in 0:03:43.420,0:03:47.680 these risks test holes on either side of 0:03:46.269,0:03:49.269 our lower splash guard so I'm going to 0:03:47.680,0:03:52.470 use a neat little meter deep socket and 0:03:49.269,0:03:52.470 impact wrench to get those off 0:04:00.530,0:04:04.670 so now we can remove the eight pop clips 0:04:02.840,0:04:06.560 that are holding in the front of our 0:04:04.670,0:04:08.420 splash guard I'm going to be using a 0:04:06.560,0:04:10.690 trim removal tool in order to remove 0:04:08.420,0:04:10.690 those 0:04:25.020,0:04:33.080 so after our final pop clip is removed 0:04:28.740,0:04:33.080 we can fully remove our splash guard 0:04:38.680,0:04:42.580 so our next step is to remove this lower 0:04:40.900,0:04:44.440 skid plate and get it out of the way so 0:04:42.580,0:04:45.970 we can access our bolts on our bumper 0:04:44.440,0:04:47.979 I'm gonna be using a 16 millimeter 0:04:45.970,0:04:50.370 socket to remove the two bolts that are 0:04:47.979,0:04:50.370 holding it 0:04:54.639,0:05:06.019 so after that is removed we can slide 0:04:57.589,0:05:07.969 our get plate up so there is a trim 0:05:06.019,0:05:10.549 piece here I did remove it in order to 0:05:07.969,0:05:12.349 give you guys a better look at the studs 0:05:10.549,0:05:14.959 coming through our frame rail I'm going 0:05:12.349,0:05:16.849 to be removing these two nuts with an 18 0:05:14.959,0:05:19.119 millimeter deep socket and my impact 0:05:16.849,0:05:19.119 wrench 0:05:28.250,0:05:32.810 now we can repeat that on these six 0:05:30.500,0:05:34.310 other steps so now on the inside of your 0:05:32.810,0:05:36.440 frame rail you're going to have the same 0:05:34.310,0:05:38.750 two studs and we're going to remove 0:05:36.440,0:05:41.330 those two nuts with that same 18 0:05:38.750,0:05:43.190 millimeter socket however you may want 0:05:41.330,0:05:44.660 to use a hand ratchet because it is 0:05:43.190,0:05:46.900 difficult to get an impact wrench in 0:05:44.660,0:05:46.900 here 0:06:21.460,0:06:27.180 now we can do the same thing for the 0:06:23.170,0:06:27.180 other side for those inner studs 0:07:13.159,0:07:18.270 so now before we can remove our factory 0:07:15.810,0:07:20.490 bumper we do need to disconnect our main 0:07:18.270,0:07:24.620 fog light wiring harness all you have to 0:07:20.490,0:07:27.240 do is to press that clip and pull back 0:07:24.620,0:07:29.580 and it'll pop right out now we can 0:07:27.240,0:07:31.560 remove our bumper so now we can take off 0:07:29.580,0:07:33.960 of our bumper just by pulling back and 0:07:31.560,0:07:35.939 getting this out of the way so what we 0:07:33.960,0:07:37.860 need to do now is remove our fog lights 0:07:35.939,0:07:39.360 from our front bumper now this is the 0:07:37.860,0:07:41.099 Sahara front bumper it's gonna be a 0:07:39.360,0:07:43.439 little bit different from the rubicon as 0:07:41.099,0:07:45.539 well as the base model sport 0:07:43.439,0:07:47.250 however the sport model is gonna be a 0:07:45.539,0:07:49.949 little bit easier but you will still be 0:07:47.250,0:07:52.379 using these same tools so first we're 0:07:49.949,0:07:55.050 gonna go ahead and unplug our fog lights 0:07:52.379,0:07:57.180 and then we can take a seven millimeter 0:07:55.050,0:07:59.219 socket and go ahead and remove the four 0:07:57.180,0:08:01.460 screws that are holding in each fog 0:07:59.219,0:08:01.460 light 0:08:13.690,0:08:18.750 and we can remove 0:08:16.080,0:08:20.870 boggling the same thing for the other 0:08:18.750,0:08:20.870 side 0:08:32.740,0:08:37.540 so what we need to do now is remove our 0:08:35.020,0:08:39.220 wiring harness for our fog lights now 0:08:37.540,0:08:41.320 there is a front and a back plastic 0:08:39.220,0:08:43.930 piece that we need to separate in order 0:08:41.320,0:08:45.340 to expose that wiring harness to remove 0:08:43.930,0:08:47.080 it so I'm going to take a seven 0:08:45.340,0:08:49.660 millimeter socket and remove all of the 0:08:47.080,0:08:57.100 screws that are holding in the plastic 0:08:49.660,0:09:01.410 pieces together they're basically going 0:08:57.100,0:09:01.410 to be the perimeter of the whole bumper 0:09:14.300,0:09:20.380 there is one missing firm here but there 0:09:16.700,0:09:23.270 is another one we can continue 0:09:20.380,0:09:26.990 so this plastics pretty delicate so if 0:09:23.270,0:09:28.940 you did strip one this one is stripped I 0:09:26.990,0:09:32.390 just put a flathead screwdriver behind 0:09:28.940,0:09:34.910 it and just push it up on the square 0:09:32.390,0:09:37.510 just to get it out and we can continue 0:09:34.910,0:09:37.510 down the side 0:09:55.000,0:09:58.930 so now that all of our screws are 0:09:56.589,0:10:00.459 removed I'm gonna start unclipping the 0:09:58.930,0:10:02.139 clips that are holding in the exposed 0:10:00.459,0:10:07.269 part of our wiring harness I'm just 0:10:02.139,0:10:08.949 using a trim removal tool to do so then 0:10:07.269,0:10:12.300 we can move over to the other side where 0:10:08.949,0:10:12.300 our other harness is exposed 0:10:18.790,0:10:23.410 so what we can do now is separate the 0:10:20.860,0:10:26.260 front piece from the rest of the bumper 0:10:23.410,0:10:29.560 so I'm going to pull this back portion 0:10:26.260,0:10:31.860 up and we have to move it around our tow 0:10:29.560,0:10:31.860 hooks 0:10:38.540,0:10:43.019 so we can take that off and then that's 0:10:40.649,0:10:44.339 going to expose our wiring harness so 0:10:43.019,0:10:46.230 now with the trim and movable tool that 0:10:44.339,0:10:47.670 we use before we can go ahead and pop 0:10:46.230,0:10:51.230 off the series of clips that are holding 0:10:47.670,0:10:51.230 in our wiring harness 0:11:19.920,0:11:23.500 so before we go ahead and install our 0:11:22.060,0:11:24.910 new front bumper I did want to tell you 0:11:23.500,0:11:27.100 guys a little bit more about it in 0:11:24.910,0:11:28.900 comparison to your factory front bumper 0:11:27.100,0:11:30.970 now right off the bat this is going to 0:11:28.900,0:11:32.590 offer you a ton more functionality than 0:11:30.970,0:11:34.480 your factory from bumper is able to 0:11:32.590,0:11:36.280 offer you however is still going to be 0:11:34.480,0:11:38.170 the same length so you still are getting 0:11:36.280,0:11:40.660 full front end protection you're getting 0:11:38.170,0:11:42.820 front tire protection as well as a bull 0:11:40.660,0:11:44.170 bar or a crash bar up top that's going 0:11:42.820,0:11:45.970 to protect a little bit more of your 0:11:44.170,0:11:47.680 grille than your factory bumper would 0:11:45.970,0:11:49.570 now even though this is still going to 0:11:47.680,0:11:51.160 be roughly a the same length that 0:11:49.570,0:11:53.020 standard width or a full width front 0:11:51.160,0:11:55.060 bumper this is still gonna have angled 0:11:53.020,0:11:57.250 ends up on the side with the tube design 0:11:55.060,0:11:59.950 so it's going to allow you for a better 0:11:57.250,0:12:01.930 approach angles off-road as well as some 0:11:59.950,0:12:03.880 larger wheels and tires now this is 0:12:01.930,0:12:05.950 gonna be a lot more durable as well made 0:12:03.880,0:12:07.750 of a cold rolled steel and it's got a 0:12:05.950,0:12:09.400 nice two-stage black textured powder 0:12:07.750,0:12:11.320 coat finish on top which is gonna 0:12:09.400,0:12:13.060 protect that steel underneath from any 0:12:11.320,0:12:14.560 rust or corrosion what it's also gonna 0:12:13.060,0:12:17.050 do is create an aggressive and more 0:12:14.560,0:12:18.100 off-road feel to your Wrangler now you 0:12:17.050,0:12:19.420 are getting a couple of different 0:12:18.100,0:12:21.400 benefits that your front bumper is 0:12:19.420,0:12:23.380 unable to offer you like I mentioned you 0:12:21.400,0:12:25.270 are getting that grill protection you do 0:12:23.380,0:12:27.730 get a tube bull bar with a couple of 0:12:25.270,0:12:29.590 reinforcement tubes up there you also 0:12:27.730,0:12:31.690 are getting two recovery points two 0:12:29.590,0:12:33.670 d-ring mount points on the front for 0:12:31.690,0:12:36.070 some safer and more efficient recovery 0:12:33.670,0:12:38.350 points than your factory tow hooks were 0:12:36.070,0:12:40.360 able to allow and you're also getting a 0:12:38.350,0:12:42.280 drop-in winch plate now this is gonna be 0:12:40.360,0:12:44.290 a little bit lower than some of the 0:12:42.280,0:12:46.420 other top mounted options on the page 0:12:44.290,0:12:48.730 but your factory front bumper is unable 0:12:46.420,0:12:50.230 to offer eight which plate at all so 0:12:48.730,0:12:52.240 that is a benefit there and it's gonna 0:12:50.230,0:12:54.760 be able to hold a winch with up to a 0:12:52.240,0:12:56.470 12,000 pounds pulling capacity as well 0:12:54.760,0:12:58.540 so there's a couple of other things you 0:12:56.470,0:13:00.010 do get to like mounting tabs up top for 0:12:58.540,0:13:02.290 any accessory lighting that you want to 0:13:00.010,0:13:03.970 add down the line and you are able to 0:13:02.290,0:13:05.800 swap over the factory fog lights which 0:13:03.970,0:13:07.960 we are going to do next so enough about 0:13:05.800,0:13:09.700 these two bumpers side-by-side let's go 0:13:07.960,0:13:11.380 install our fog lights so now we can go 0:13:09.700,0:13:13.210 ahead and install our fog lights using 0:13:11.380,0:13:15.550 our provided hardware we're gonna attach 0:13:13.210,0:13:17.710 spring Clips around on each of the holes 0:13:15.550,0:13:19.630 on the welded brackets on our prop 0:13:17.710,0:13:21.490 bumper and then we can go ahead and use 0:13:19.630,0:13:22.930 our bolts to secure them down so I'm 0:13:21.490,0:13:24.430 gonna head around this side to give you 0:13:22.930,0:13:26.710 guys a better view so we can take our 0:13:24.430,0:13:27.990 spring clips and slide them on to each 0:13:26.710,0:13:30.670 of the holes 0:13:27.990,0:13:33.300 making sure that the threaded part is 0:13:30.670,0:13:33.300 facing down 0:13:39.790,0:13:46.930 so after those are on there we can grab 0:13:42.160,0:13:48.730 our fog light put it in place so we can 0:13:46.930,0:13:52.750 grab our provided hardware which is 0:13:48.730,0:13:55.170 going to be a small bolts and flat 0:13:52.750,0:13:55.170 washers 0:14:05.740,0:14:09.250 so I'm just gonna put them in place for 0:14:07.720,0:14:10.420 now making sure that they're sitting in 0:14:09.250,0:14:14.010 the spring clip and then we can go ahead 0:14:10.420,0:14:14.010 and thread them in and tighten them down 0:14:18.970,0:14:21.790 I'm gonna take a flathead screwdriver 0:14:20.230,0:14:25.350 you can also take a Phillips head 0:14:21.790,0:14:25.350 screwdriver and those up 0:15:20.810,0:15:24.560 so now we're ready to mount up our from 0:15:22.580,0:15:28.150 bumper this bumper is heavy so I would 0:15:24.560,0:15:28.150 recommend to gravity friend 0:15:31.480,0:15:36.399 so what we can do now once our bumper is 0:15:33.970,0:15:38.410 on is secure it down so on each of the 0:15:36.399,0:15:40.989 eight studs we're going to install a 0:15:38.410,0:15:42.579 flat washer a lock washer and then a nut 0:15:40.989,0:15:45.339 and then tighten it down with a sixteen 0:15:42.579,0:15:48.309 millimeter socket so you're gonna have 0:15:45.339,0:15:51.100 two studs on each side of either frame 0:15:48.309,0:15:53.559 rail I already put on the flat washer 0:15:51.100,0:15:55.629 and lock washer and then we can put on 0:15:53.559,0:15:58.350 the nut into the same thing for the 0:15:55.629,0:15:58.350 bottom stud 0:17:21.400,0:17:24.939 so once you have all of your hardware 0:17:22.900,0:17:26.439 threaded on we can take a sixty 0:17:24.939,0:17:28.500 millimeter deep socket and tighten those 0:17:26.439,0:17:28.500 down 0:18:43.790,0:18:49.220 so now we can install our factory wiring 0:18:45.980,0:18:52.250 harness now you can tidy your wire up 0:18:49.220,0:18:54.770 however you want to what I'm gonna do is 0:18:52.250,0:18:56.450 just send the longer portion of the fog 0:18:54.770,0:18:58.810 light that reaches to the other side of 0:18:56.450,0:19:07.850 the bumper through our winch plate here 0:18:58.810,0:19:13.460 and plug that into our fog lights then 0:19:07.850,0:19:18.800 we can take the other side plug in our 0:19:13.460,0:19:24.800 other connection and then we can plug in 0:19:18.800,0:19:27.380 our main plug and then take this extra 0:19:24.800,0:19:30.560 loom of wire and you can put it inside 0:19:27.380,0:19:32.660 the winch plate if you'd like and zip 0:19:30.560,0:19:38.060 tie it in there just to clean it up a 0:19:32.660,0:19:39.710 little bit so that's gonna wrap it up 0:19:38.060,0:19:41.390 for my review and install make sure you 0:19:39.710,0:19:43.130 like and subscribe and for more videos Greatest Bumper I will never use

I have this bumper in my garage still because it will not mount over the tow bars I installed to tow my JL behind my RV. And I cannot return because it was shipped freight (too big to return :-/). I installed tow bars because this company cannot guarantee this bumper to be safe for actual towing behind my RV. If there is a break while towing at the d-rings there is no insurance coverage I found out. Camping World (now) tells me they often install tow bars in addition to custom bumpers if they can fit around the custom bumper...for this reason. It has been frustrating that the bumper industry is not working to build bumpers to fit over tow bars - or to make this possible to figure out OR TO EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS RISK in advance. Just be aware of this before you buy if you plan to tow your Jeep using this bumper to connect to your Blue Ox or Roadmaster hitch bar.

Great bumper, easy to install although I threw away the instructions packed with the bumper and just followed the video on this site. Used other D rings than were packaged with the product.

            Great fit, almost perfect

I have a 2019 JLU Rubicon, and the bumper itself was a perfect fit for the Jeep. The package came with the instructions for a JK, so I had to watch the YouTube video to see how to uninstall the factory bumper. I do not have the Rubicon LED kit, so the fog lights fit perfectly in the new bumper. The downside, though, was that the winch plate was welded in backward, with the mounting holes towards the body of the Jeep, rather than towards the front. I had to drill a new set of mounting holes in the winch plate to fit the winch (Smittybilt X2O 10k - 98510)

            Great bumper

Install was easy, bumper is heavy duty, I hit it on a big rock, and didn't even scratch. Not 5 star, because my bumper came with a small dent on top of bumper. Stock JL fog lights dont fit, but I did some mods and made them fit.

It'd look better if fog lights fit (JLU sport)

Installed on JLU sport. CON: Fog lights do not fit on bumper and this is not stated on video or item description. Mounted X2O 10K lb winch with steel wire and it's a very very tight fit, so much so the wire will rub on plastic grill from time to time. (should have bought synthetic just $150 more, nevertheless the description doesn't tell you how tight it will fight). PRO: Good price, and appearance. Fits on Jeep as described, no issues.

            Great looking bumper.

Easy to install, with the exception of the OEM fog lights. Accidentally cut a wire and wound up splicing things to make them work.

            Great bumper very easy install

Bumper was easy to install and fitment was great. This is the same item as the bumper labeled for the the fog light mounting does not fit lights for jl. Wish this had been made more clear in item description. Also the price was marked up $10 for the 'JL' label so looses a star for that reason.

Love the look, easy to install

Once I got the stock bumper off, this one installed very easily. It wasn’t very easy to get the LED lights out of the stock bumper, and it was a little bit of a pain to get them on this bumper. Regardless, I love the look and the fit was perfect. I would recommend!

            Great Bumper

Day 1, my bumper came in on Friday. the outside packaging was 50 damage, but the foam and bubble wrap kept everything protected. Follow the various youtube tutorial on how to remove the plastic bumper and the LED Fog Lights, I got everything off ok. Just when I thought mounting the Crawler bumper should be easy. The 8 screws are not 100 align. I eventually Crushed my finger when I tried to catch the bumper when It dropped. Lesson learned. 1> wear glove I managed to keep 4 bolts in place to keep the bumper on, but give up the idea to finish it up myself. Went to a shop and asked for help. Thanks to their helps, the put it on in no time, and I was told the had to adjust the mounting bracket a tiny bit to fit it in. (I had no idea you can do that...). I was prepared to pay, and the guy did I for free.
