            Easy install

Just some double sided tape and stick it on. Make sure you wipe it down the surface first before peeling red plastic off the tape. Anyway, easy and cheap and makes you love your Jeep more. Def made mine pop a little more. Only thing I would have liked better was a little bit more length around the lip of it. It almost perfectly covers the vents. But if you aren’t careful you will have an exposed edge. Measure three times before you peel. It’s easier if you pull out the red tab to the side so once it’s aligned you can peel it off carefully n not have it move much. At least that’s how I did it !

            Intake protection

When summer weather returns I fully expect the part to warp and sag in the hot sun .For now it's doing a good job of keeping the pine needles out of the cabin air intake. There is increased air flow from vents while moving .

I installed the cowl vent scoop and there is no more wet floor on the driver side after a rainy day.

            Covers well

Bought this because my windshield motor froze last winter and wanted something to protect the motor. This way the weather will not get to the motor.

            Working well for 2010 JK

I live in Canada and some items can't be shipped up this way so I went with this less reviewed scoop. Installed very quickly, just took my time to really clean the metal surface to ensure good adhesion of the two sided tape. Also, took a minute to figure out exactly where I wanted it positioned before pulling the cover off the tape. So far it's stuck on solids, even after brushing snow off my jeep a few times. However, I am not certain which direction the cowl opening is best to be installed. I did some forum searching and chose to keep the opening towards the windshield. This was to stop some rain/snow from entering the AC system, but that didn't seem to be an issue for me in the past. Maybe extreme terrain has an opinion. Finish looks good, design looks good, and is staying on. Currently happy with the purchase and would recommend.
