0:00:01.079,0:00:05.849the Redrock 4x4 Avenger front bumper0:00:04.109,0:00:09.540with winch mount is for anyone with a0:00:05.849,0:00:10.8602007 to 2018 JK that is looking for a0:00:09.540,0:00:12.510front bumper that's going to change up0:00:10.860,0:00:14.580the look of your Jeep as well as adding0:00:12.510,0:00:15.900a lot of functionality and if we're0:00:14.580,0:00:17.939honest that's really what we're looking0:00:15.900,0:00:19.470for when shopping for a front bumper0:00:17.939,0:00:21.269this is going to be a nice easy0:00:19.470,0:00:22.949installation one out of three wrenches0:00:21.269,0:00:24.779just bolts right onto your Jeep and I'll0:00:22.949,0:00:26.640show you how to do it in just a second0:00:24.779,0:00:27.720so like I said this is not only going to0:00:26.640,0:00:29.429change up the look of your Jeep it's0:00:27.720,0:00:31.470also going to add a lot of functionality0:00:29.429,0:00:33.210and we're gonna talk a little bit more0:00:31.470,0:00:35.129about both of those things when we have0:00:33.210,0:00:36.989this bumper side-by-side with your0:00:35.129,0:00:38.460factory bumper but what's important to0:00:36.989,0:00:39.809note is this is going to be a steel0:00:38.460,0:00:41.160bumper so you're going to get a ton of0:00:39.809,0:00:42.809strength it's going to be very very0:00:41.160,0:00:44.879durable whether it comes into contact0:00:42.809,0:00:46.949with any obstacles offroad or even0:00:44.879,0:00:49.769anything on road it's going to be0:00:46.949,0:00:51.179shorter for both style and again for0:00:49.769,0:00:53.879functionality for some additional0:00:51.179,0:00:55.739clearance and overall just adds a lot of0:00:53.879,0:00:56.749additional function now this bumper is0:00:55.739,0:00:59.280going to come in at right around that0:00:56.749,0:01:00.839440 dollar mark which I don't think is a0:00:59.280,0:01:02.640bad deal for what you're going to get0:01:00.839,0:01:04.800here it is a very well-built bumper it0:01:02.640,0:01:06.270does have a lot of function and as long0:01:04.800,0:01:08.010as you like the styling I think it's0:01:06.270,0:01:09.030going to be a pretty good deal so like0:01:08.010,0:01:10.680we said before we're going to show you0:01:09.030,0:01:12.360how to get it installed it's a nice easy0:01:10.680,0:01:14.820one out of three wrenches for this0:01:12.360,0:01:16.830installation we used a 16 and 180:01:14.820,0:01:19.380millimeter socket as well as a number0:01:16.830,0:01:21.360two phillips head socket we also used a0:01:19.380,0:01:23.340ten millimeter socket for our fog light0:01:21.360,0:01:25.410hardware but that will vary depending on0:01:23.340,0:01:27.480which hardware you pick up we also used0:01:25.410,0:01:29.160a couple of extensions and we drove all0:01:27.480,0:01:32.220of those sockets with a combination of a0:01:29.160,0:01:34.5603/8 electric impact and a 3/8 drive0:01:32.220,0:01:36.570pneumatic wrench and a 3/8 Drive0:01:34.560,0:01:38.010pneumatic ratchet so the first step in0:01:36.570,0:01:39.810getting your new bumper installed is of0:01:38.010,0:01:42.030course removing your factory bumper now0:01:39.810,0:01:43.740our bumpers have been removed and0:01:42.030,0:01:45.150reinstalled a bunch of times and they're0:01:43.740,0:01:47.670actually missing a couple of plastic0:01:45.150,0:01:49.140pieces so if your JK is completely stock0:01:47.670,0:01:50.670there are a few steps that you're going0:01:49.140,0:01:52.320to start with there's going to be a0:01:50.670,0:01:53.850splash shield on the bottom of the0:01:52.320,0:01:55.380bumper that goes from the crash bar to0:01:53.850,0:01:57.390the bottom of the bumper you can pop0:01:55.380,0:01:59.430that off with a trim removal tool just0:01:57.390,0:02:01.290by removing the plastic clips that hold0:01:59.430,0:02:03.060it in place then there's also going to0:02:01.290,0:02:05.010be a plastic piece up on top of the0:02:03.060,0:02:06.960frame here plastic frame cover and you0:02:05.010,0:02:08.340can remove those plastic clips with a0:02:06.960,0:02:10.530Phillips head screwdriver0:02:08.340,0:02:12.510once those are gone your Jeep will look0:02:10.530,0:02:14.060pretty much like ours here and all0:02:12.510,0:02:16.099that's left is to remove the0:02:14.060,0:02:17.360for nuts on either side that hold the0:02:16.099,0:02:19.940bumper to the frame and then of course0:02:17.360,0:02:21.560unplug the fog lights one thing to note0:02:19.940,0:02:23.300about the fog lights is depending on0:02:21.560,0:02:25.220your year of the Jeep the plug will be a0:02:23.300,0:02:26.660little bit different so the process will0:02:25.220,0:02:28.010be a little bit different there but just0:02:26.660,0:02:30.140make sure you get them unplugged before0:02:28.010,0:02:31.880you go and remove the bumper from the0:02:30.140,0:02:33.620Jeep so we're gonna go ahead and get all0:02:31.880,0:02:35.480of those nuts loose get the fog lights0:02:33.620,0:02:37.690unplugged and get this bumper set to the0:02:35.480,0:02:37.690side0:02:43.370,0:02:46.639[Applause]0:02:55.670,0:02:59.100[Music]0:03:04.720,0:03:13.939[Music]0:03:21.780,0:03:28.989now go ahead and unplug our fog light0:03:24.610,0:03:32.670Highness on our 2014 it's just a pinch0:03:28.989,0:03:32.670and pull to get the harness unplugged0:03:35.129,0:03:39.310with all of our Hardware removed and our0:03:37.629,0:03:47.799fog lights unplugged we can grab the0:03:39.310,0:03:48.849bumper and remove it from the Jeep the0:03:47.799,0:03:50.680last thing we need to do with our0:03:48.849,0:03:52.810factory bumper before moving on to our0:03:50.680,0:03:54.340new bumper is remove the factory fog0:03:52.810,0:03:55.900lights and they're just held into the0:03:54.340,0:03:57.549bumper with a few Phillips head screws0:03:55.900,0:04:00.660so we'll get those screws removed and0:03:57.549,0:04:00.660get the fog light housing down0:04:13.000,0:04:18.540[Applause]0:04:25.560,0:04:37.480[Applause]0:04:37.820,0:04:43.320[Music]0:04:39.080,0:04:43.320[Applause]0:04:43.870,0:04:47.380now we can move on to first some0:04:45.639,0:04:49.300assembly and then the installation of0:04:47.380,0:04:51.160our Redrock 4x4 bumper and the first0:04:49.300,0:04:53.229thing we're going to do is install those0:04:51.160,0:04:55.419factory fog lights into our new bumper0:04:53.229,0:04:58.060now this bumper does not come with0:04:55.419,0:04:59.979hardware to bolt your fog lights into it0:04:58.060,0:05:01.930of course it does have mounts for it all0:04:59.979,0:05:03.970of the holes line up with the factory0:05:01.930,0:05:05.770fog lights again just no hardware so we0:05:03.970,0:05:07.300found some small mountain bolt hardware0:05:05.770,0:05:10.440that's going to do the trick for us so0:05:07.300,0:05:10.440we'll get our fog lights bolted in0:05:43.030,0:05:47.280that's all the hardware started we can0:05:44.890,0:05:47.280tighten it down0:05:54.300,0:05:58.740[Applause]0:05:55.650,0:05:58.740[Music]0:06:16.170,0:06:19.879[Applause]0:06:25.570,0:06:29.419with all of our foglight hardware0:06:28.040,0:06:32.229tightened down it's time to get the0:06:29.419,0:06:32.229bumper onto the Jeep0:06:43.950,0:06:48.460so as you can see when you have the0:06:46.000,0:06:49.870Redrock 4x4 bumper right next to your0:06:48.460,0:06:51.790factory bumper there are some pretty0:06:49.870,0:06:53.620significant differences in the first one0:06:51.790,0:06:55.510you might notice is the width of the0:06:53.620,0:06:57.700bumper this is going to be more of a mid0:06:55.510,0:06:59.530with bumper where your factory bumper is0:06:57.700,0:07:01.030a full-width bumper so a little bit0:06:59.530,0:07:02.530shorter here provides a little bit more0:07:01.030,0:07:04.780clearance if you are running a large0:07:02.530,0:07:06.190tire also a little bit more access to0:07:04.780,0:07:07.660the front of the tire if you're doing0:07:06.190,0:07:10.090some rock crawling with some really big0:07:07.660,0:07:11.590ledges and in general is just going to0:07:10.090,0:07:13.570give a little bit more of a sporty a0:07:11.590,0:07:15.850little bit more of that off-road styling0:07:13.570,0:07:17.140by having a slightly shorter bumper now0:07:15.850,0:07:18.790let's talk a little bit about the0:07:17.140,0:07:20.950functionality that this bumper is going0:07:18.790,0:07:22.780to add as you can see right here and has0:07:20.950,0:07:24.250some d-rings built right into it or I0:07:22.780,0:07:26.230should say Deering mounts and it does0:07:24.250,0:07:28.000come with the d-rings as well and that's0:07:26.230,0:07:30.310going to be for any sort of recovery0:07:28.000,0:07:33.100that you might do with a snatch strap or0:07:30.310,0:07:34.570with a winch even with a tow strap now0:07:33.100,0:07:36.220your factory bumper here does have a0:07:34.570,0:07:37.840couple of hooks on the top of it but I0:07:36.220,0:07:40.090really prefer a d-ring it's a much more0:07:37.840,0:07:41.980secure attachment point you know that0:07:40.090,0:07:43.960the loop isn't gonna pop off the hook0:07:41.980,0:07:45.490like and sometimes happen if you're0:07:43.960,0:07:47.830using a d-ring so I just really like0:07:45.490,0:07:49.330that option right next to those d-ring0:07:47.830,0:07:52.000mounts you have spots for your factory0:07:49.330,0:07:53.500fog lights now this does not come with0:07:52.000,0:07:55.390that hardware that you're going to need0:07:53.500,0:07:57.580to get the factory fog lights bolted in0:07:55.390,0:07:59.080place but it does have a spot for them0:07:57.580,0:08:00.640and I always like that you already have0:07:59.080,0:08:02.230the factory fog light or your factory0:08:00.640,0:08:04.000bumper they're switching the wiring0:08:02.230,0:08:05.350everything is there why not purchase a0:08:04.000,0:08:07.810bumper that allows you to use them and0:08:05.350,0:08:09.370this one is going to do just that right0:08:07.810,0:08:11.620above your fog lights you have your0:08:09.370,0:08:13.990winch mount now with a bumper like this0:08:11.620,0:08:16.180it's almost a modular style but not0:08:13.990,0:08:17.980quite in that the winch mount gets0:08:16.180,0:08:19.630bolted on top and if you're not using a0:08:17.980,0:08:22.090winch you can just not bolt the winch0:08:19.630,0:08:23.560mount on top and because of that the0:08:22.090,0:08:25.210winch mount is a little bit more of an0:08:23.560,0:08:28.060afterthought and what I mean by that is0:08:25.210,0:08:29.650it doesn't sit down way low inside of0:08:28.060,0:08:31.390the bumper and almost hide half of the0:08:29.650,0:08:33.190winch like some of the other bumpers on0:08:31.390,0:08:35.410the market do this is gonna put it right0:08:33.190,0:08:36.760up on top not a bad thing just something0:08:35.410,0:08:38.830that I wanted to point out to you of0:08:36.760,0:08:40.660course your factory bumper doesn't have0:08:38.830,0:08:42.729any sort of winch mount at all built0:08:40.660,0:08:43.930right into it being a plastic bumper it0:08:42.729,0:08:45.310just doesn't really have the strength0:08:43.930,0:08:46.990for it you need a lot of reinforcement0:08:45.310,0:08:49.180to be able to add it0:08:46.990,0:08:51.399man on to a factory bumper up here you0:08:49.180,0:08:53.350have a hoop that's going to add style0:08:51.399,0:08:55.510but also some functionality because this0:08:53.350,0:08:57.580does have too light mount tabs up on top0:08:55.510,0:08:58.930and something else I like about this is0:08:57.580,0:09:00.490there's some holes drilled in this0:08:58.930,0:09:03.550tubing so that you can run your wiring0:09:00.490,0:09:05.050inside the tube right down and into the0:09:03.550,0:09:06.399bumper so you don't have any sort of0:09:05.050,0:09:07.930wiring on the surface here you don't0:09:06.399,0:09:10.120have any zip ties that you have to look0:09:07.930,0:09:12.250at so that just allows you to do some0:09:10.120,0:09:14.020really clean wiring there I like the0:09:12.250,0:09:15.640double tube design that's something that0:09:14.020,0:09:17.260not just Red Rock but some of the0:09:15.640,0:09:19.720manufacturers are doing as well and just0:09:17.260,0:09:21.550visually I like that as you can see of0:09:19.720,0:09:22.570course the factory bumper doesn't have0:09:21.550,0:09:24.459anything like that0:09:22.570,0:09:26.350now one more comparison that I do want0:09:24.459,0:09:28.240to make is right in this area here so0:09:26.350,0:09:29.500right on the end of both of the frame0:09:28.240,0:09:30.820horns you can see there's a little bit0:09:29.500,0:09:33.310of a bulge and it's a little bit of a0:09:30.820,0:09:34.930rounded area and that is very similar to0:09:33.310,0:09:36.850what you see on the factory bumper from0:09:34.930,0:09:39.160a styling perspective so even though0:09:36.850,0:09:40.510this bumper is very angular has a lot of0:09:39.160,0:09:42.730those hard angles and a lot of those0:09:40.510,0:09:44.350flat surfaces it does add a little bit0:09:42.730,0:09:46.330of this curvature which in my opinion0:09:44.350,0:09:48.700gives it a little bit more of a refined0:09:46.330,0:09:50.950to look and also mimics the factory0:09:48.700,0:09:52.899styling just a little bit so overall0:09:50.950,0:09:55.329visually I like this bumper and0:09:52.899,0:09:57.520functionally as you can see it has a ton0:09:55.329,0:09:59.260of features over that factory bump with0:09:57.520,0:10:00.520the bumper on the Jeep we'll use all the0:09:59.260,0:10:02.589included hardware0:10:00.520,0:10:05.399get it all hand tight before going back0:10:02.589,0:10:05.399and tightening it down0:10:12.810,0:10:18.299[Music]0:10:31.750,0:10:51.470with all the hardware started by hand we0:10:34.550,0:10:52.940can go back and tighten it down at this0:10:51.470,0:10:55.790stage you're ready to bolt our winch0:10:52.940,0:10:57.380plate onto the bumper now if you are0:10:55.790,0:10:58.699installing a winch which we're not going0:10:57.380,0:11:01.160to be doing today you'll want to bolt0:10:58.699,0:11:03.740the winch onto the winch plate first0:11:01.160,0:11:05.029then bolt the winch plate onto the Jeep0:11:03.740,0:11:06.680that's just because the way this is0:11:05.029,0:11:08.329designed as you can see there are some0:11:06.680,0:11:11.240recesses in the bottom of the Description

Aggressive Avenger Styling. When it comes to off-roading RedRock 4x4 has you covered. RedRock 4x4 designed their Avenger Front Bumper with the adventurous off-roader in mind. This 2007-2018 JK Front Bumper features an aggressive look with an integrated over-rider grille guard hoop and two high strength D-Ring mounts with 9,500 lb. rated D-Rings. Additionally, this Avenger Bumper comes with a built-in winch plate that is capable of supporting a 12,000 lb. winch.

OE Size Fog Light Housings. This RedRock 4x4 Front Bumper is the perfect solution for night-time trail runners, as it features two OE sized fog light mounting points that allow you to easily swap over your Wrangler's factory fog lights. The over-rider hoop also includes two mounting tabs for use with any aftermarket auxiliary lights to ensure complete confidence in any night time adventure.

Heavy Duty Construction. RedRock 4x4 manufactures their Front Bumper from heavy duty, fabricated steel plate and steel tubing for superior strength and rigidity. The D-Ring mounts are welded in place for extra strength. RedRock then completes the entire Bumper in a 2 stage finish using epoxy pre-coating and high-grade textured black powder coating for durability and long lasting corrosion resistance.

Direct Bolt-On Installation. RedRock 4x4 engineered their Avenger Front Bumper to be a direct bolt-on replacement for the original stock bumper reusing the factory hardware and mounting points. There is no cutting or modifications required for a clean straight forward installation. Installation can be completed in about 2 hours with just basic hand tools and the help of a good friend.

Application. This RedRock 4x4 Full Width Avenger Front Bumper with Winch Mount is designed for use on all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.
