Hey, guys. Today, I'm here with the RedRock 4x4 A-Pillar Mounted Switch Panel with the Switches, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers. So this is gonna be for the JK owner looking for a very convenient and clean-looking way to manage all of their electronic accessories from inside of the cab area. So as you guys know, any accessory lighting or any electric-operated accessories, like a air compressor or a air locker will require a switch to be wired up in order to actuate and to operate those. So with individual accessories comes individual switches, and if you don't have anywhere to put them, they can become clutter inside of your JK. So a switch panel is a very easy way and the most common way to clean up that clutter, and this one by RedRock will be the easiest and most affordable way to get all of your switches in one place and be very easily accessible. Personally, speaking of accessibility, I like where this is mounted on the driver side A-pillar. It's very easy to reach your hand up and actuate any accessories you like because they are right in your face, compared to some other options that will mount in front of your shifter or mount on the passenger side A-pillar. So at the moment, this prices out at about $30. And I think that that's good for the price, considering that you don't have to cut or tap into your existing trim piece that came stock on your JK, or you don't have to cut this switch pod. So other more expensive options may require that just to get a tighter and a cleaner fit, and they will have some more custom rocker switches with different designs, which will bump up that price. Personally, I think for the fit and the quality of the materials that this is good for the price, and customers really seem to be liking it, considering the reviews. So for $30, you really can't beat it. Install is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're only gonna need a couple of hand tools in order to do this. However, timing will depend on how long it takes you, personally, to mount up all of your accessories. But speaking of the install, let's jump into that now. The tools that I used for my install were a flat-head screwdriver and a Phillips-head screwdriver. So the first step into removing our OEM trim piece is to remove the pop clip that's holding on this top portion of the trim piece. So this is going to allow it to be able to pull forward, so we can access this trim piece down here. So you will need a Phillips-head screwdriver and a flat-head screwdriver to get this out. So now that you can see that this trim is flexible, this is only held in by a post. So we can actually just give this a little bit of a tug, and it should come off. Now, the challenge with this is to get it untucked from here. So since this is flexible, we can just bend that back and remove it like that. So this is a very simple product, guys. I did, however, want to give you a side-by-side compared to the OEM trim piece and the new A-pillar trim piece. So this is made of an ABS material, which is gonna be the same OEM color, texture, and finish on it. So it's gonna give a really clean look to the inside of the cab area. This has pre-molded cutouts for the switches, unlike some other options where you do have to cut and manipulate the trim piece in order to get the switches in. And all the edges are perfectly cut to match exactly or if not the same to your interior trim piece that already comes on the JK. So this also includes the four rocker switches, as you can see here. They're gonna be multicolored, and they're gonna have LEDs. So they are going to light up the cab area to make sure that you are switching on the right switch at the right time, even in a dim setting, and you can color-match to whatever accessory you want on whichever color. These are very simple switches. These are three-prong, 12-volt switches, and they already do have wiring leads attached to them. So all you have to do is splice in your accessories, and you're all good to go. So before we can mount this up to our JK, we do have to switch over these two retaining tabs, and then we can go ahead and mount this up. So you will need a flat-head screwdriver for this step. I have one right here. And all you have to do is pry up. These are pretty easy to get off. So you're gonna need two flat-head screwdrivers to pry up on the teeth, so you can just pop it right off. So as soon as these retaining clips are off of our old trim, we can pop it onto our new one. And we can go ahead and mount this up on our Jeep. So we don't have any accessory lighting that we're hooking up right now. We're just showing you how to mount this up to your A-pillar. However, if you are hooking up your accessory lighting, you would want to go ahead and splice everything in at this time, run it behind the existing trim, so then you will be able to pop this in place and not have to worry about any wiring or any connections. So after you're done splicing everything into your existing wires, you can start by just reinstalling it how we took it off. You want to make sure that this small cutout is at the top. This is gonna go around our pop clip that sits in here. So you can shimmy everything in there. You may have to pop this side piece off. All you have to do is take a flat-head. Ours had enough gap where I could just take it off. So you want to make sure that you have your post and your retainers lined up, and then you can pop your retainers into place. You can put your trim piece on back down here. So depending on your trim and your interior, you may have to do a little bit of trimming on the bottom for the best fit. It looks like we would need to do a little bit of trimming down here. However, we can manipulate the plastic to make it fit. It's just not the cleanest. So after your trim piece is in place, we can set everything in place with our pop clip here. So that's gonna wrap up my short review and install on the RedRock 4x4 A-Pillar Mounted Switch Panel with the Switches, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK Wranglers.
