The gas springs take stress away from the hood and are compatible with all hood types, unless otherwise noted. Slow Release. This RedLine Tuning QuickLIFT PLUS Kit operates using 2 custom-valved, progressive gas springs created through Redline Tuning directly. Using specifications unique to the Tacoma, these struts allow the hood to raise at a slower rate when approaching full-extension. This process will eliminate shaking and the stress frequently placed on the hood itself.
Quality Components. Manufactured with black e-coated gas springs and gloss black powder-coated hardware, this Redline Tuning QuickLIFT Mid-Level System comes with custom ball stud mounting brackets and all essential hardware. This Hood Strut System is compatible with both factory and aftermarket hoods, opening up the doors for customization.
Installation. Using the included detailed manual, this QuickLIFT PLUS System does require some drilling, but it's straight forward enough for anyone to tackle.
