Hey, guys. So today we're checking out the Raxiom 50-Inch LED Light Bar Windshield Mount with the auxiliary brackets, fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJ Wranglers. So if you are in search of some brackets to mount up auxiliary lighting on top of your TJ for some better visibility on dark back roads and dark trails, this option by Raxiom is going to be a great option to take a look into. Now, these will accommodate any 50-inch straight LED light bar, and what I really like about this choice is the fact that it's going to come with those brackets down at the bottom for additional lighting. Now, those will accept really any auxiliary lighting that you choose to put down there, so I personally like the fact that you can customize this to your personal preference and to your application as far as your build is concerned. Now these are going to be very durable, made of a steel construction, so they will be able to take some abuse while you're out on the trail and hold up for a very long time, and they also have a nice textured black powder coat finish on top to match with any other textured black accessories that you may already have on your Wrangler and, of course, protect that steel underneath. Now, these will also come with gaskets on the back to make sure that there's no metal-to-metal contact, and this will also come with longer bolts to make sure that those can reach through the bracket into the A-pillar itself. So, overall, this is a very inclusive kit and also very functional. Now with that being said, these are going to come in roughly at $100 for the pair, and I personally like this package in comparison to some other choices considering, again, this is going to give you some options, so I think it's well worth that price point. Not only are you getting the mount up top for that 50-inch light bar, but again, you're getting these auxiliary brackets down at the bottom. Some other options available on the page will not have brackets down at the bottom. And what I do really like about these brackets, in particular, is that these are a little bit longer, so they are slotted so you can customize where you want your auxiliary light to sit and kind of play around with that. Again, gives you the option to customize your build to how you want it. So, overall, if you are looking for some sturdy brackets that have some simplistic styling but add some off-road feel to your build, while also being very functional, this is going to be a great option to take a look into. Now, when it comes to install, I'm going to give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, probably going to need about 30 minutes to get the job done with some very basic hand tools. So, speaking of that install, let's jump into that now.The tools that I used for my install were a ratchet, a 3-inch extension, a T40 Torx socket, and a 3/16-inch Allen socket. So the first step of our install is actually going to be on the table. We are provided with gaskets for our brackets here. So, what we're going to do is install these first and then we can head over to the Jeep. So what I'm going to do first is just take out the little inserts. These are pre-cut for the mounting locations on the bracket itself. So, once these are off, what we can do is peel off this backing. Now, you just need to make sure that you have the correct side when you're doing this. We can line up those mounting locations as best as possible. Do the same thing for the other side. Once those are installed, we can head over to the Jeep. Now that we're at the Jeep, what we can do is remove the four bolts on this upper part of the A-pillar right above the hinge for our windshield there. Now, this is going to usually be a T40 Torx bolt. We have one here, but we have replaced some of our hardware. So I'm going to use a T40 Torx socket as well as a 3/16-inch Allen socket to remove those four bolts up top. What we can do at this point is install our new bracket. Now you are going to have longer bolts provided in the kit as well as plastic flat washers. So, we're going to line this up and reinstall them in the factory mounting locations. And I'm also using that 3/16-inch Allen socket to help me thread those in first. Once those are all hand-threaded in, what we can do is tighten them up. I'm also going to use a 3-inch extension with my ratchet and the 3/16-inch Allen socket just to give myself a little bit of room now that this bracket is on. Once this side is tightened down, we can repeat that same exact process on the other side.So that's going to wrap it up for my review and install.
