The RaceQuip 6-Inch Tall Fire Retardant Shifter Boot with Mounted Base Plate in black creates a protective barrier between the transmission tunnel shifter opening and the driver, enhancing safety in the event of fire hazards. It covers and seals the shifter area to reduce the risk of flames or heat penetration, contributing to driver safety by providing fire resistance in critical zones within the vehicle interior.

      Construction and Appearance. This shifter boot is made of two layers of premium Banox FR3 fire retardant material for durable, effective protection. The mounting base consists of a precision-machined aluminum frame, finished in black and pre-drilled for straightforward installation. The cover includes a small Velcro top closure and snaps securely to the frame for a clean and professional look.
