Reengineered Steering System. The PSC Motorsports Adventure Steering Kit replaces the factory electro-hydraulic steering on Jeep Wrangler JL 3.6L Non-eTorque models with a durable mechanical setup. This upgrade eliminates wandering steering and pump overheating, providing consistent and strong steering performance during off-road crawling, towing, or running lockers. It is designed for drivers seeking enhanced steering reliability and control during demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features a robust Big Bore XD steering gear equipped with Cylinder Assist ports and a high-flow mechanical pump and cooler assembly. All components are engineered for durability under abusive conditions, using quality materials finished to withstand harsh environments while maintaining a professional appearance suitable for rugged use.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and does not require drilling. Users must disable the factory pump controls using a Tazer JL or JL Mini. Careful attention is required when installing alongside certain aftermarket track bars, as additional hardware is necessary to avoid damaging the gear case.
Application. This steering kit is specifically designed for the 2018 to 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL models equipped with the 3.6L Non-eTorque engine and is not compatible with eTorque versions or other model years.
