Digital HUD Display. The Prosport 52mm Digital HUD Display Boost Gauge is designed to provide real-time data including boost and vacuum pressure, speed, RPM, voltage, and water temperature. It projects vital vehicle information onto a reflective film on the windshield, helping drivers keep critical metrics in their line of sight without distraction. This enhances driving awareness and performance monitoring during operation.
Construction and Appearance. The unit features a high-contrast fluorescent digital readout optimized for excellent daylight visibility while avoiding excessive brightness at night. It includes a reflective film that mounts to the windshield, ensuring clear readability. Materials consist of durable plastics with a clean, modern finish that integrates seamlessly into most vehicle interiors.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and quick, requiring no drilling or complex modifications. The gauge simply plugs into a standard OBDII port, and the supplied reflective film is attached to the windshield using included velcro strips, making the process accessible for most users.
Application. Fits universal with some adaptation; note the device is incompatible with Volkswagen vehicles but supports most US models from 1996 onward utilizing specified OBDII protocols including ISO15765 (CAN), ISO 9141-2, and ISD 14230 (KWP2000).
