Description
Jeep Brake Rebuild Kit. Restore the braking force of your vehicle with this powerful Z36 front and rear brake kit. The set includes drums, rotors, brake pads, shoes, and the necessary hardware to completely redo the brakes on the front and rear of your vehicle. This set is made to fit 1991-1998 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ models and some 1999 TJ models as well.
Rugged Split Steel Rotors. This set includes four different split steel rotors that are all slotted and cross-drilled. The rotors are protectively coated on the outside to resist corrosion over time.
Durable Steel Cast Iron Drums. This Z36 Extreme truck brake kit includes a set of cast-iron brake drums that are protectively coated to help them resist wear over time.
Ceramic Brake Pads. Each of the brake pads in this set is made from a carbon-fiber infused ceramic that’s hard and offers exceptional grip at the same time.
Semi-Metallic Brake Shoes. The brake shoes in this kit are made from a semi-metallic material and designed to grip reliably without generating much noise during use.
Minimal Brake Dust. Both the disc brakes and drum shoes in this kit generate little dust and remain quiet during use.
Mid-Level Installation. An expert can fully install this kit in between 3-4 hours. Novices may struggle with the drum brakes, but most users can handle the disc brakes and rotors without an issue. An expert installation is still recommended with this kit for the best results.
Full Drum and Rotor Kit. This complete braking kit includes two rotors, two brake drums, a drum hardware kit, four brake shoes, and four brake pads.
Application. This kit fits 1991-1998 Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ Models. 1999 TJ models also work when equipped with 3-1/2-inch composite rotors.
