            DO NOT BUY

I purchased these to replace cracked exhaust manifolds on my 2008 JKU. I wrapped these with DEI thermal wrap and used the DEI thermal boot. The #4 cylinder spark plug wire still melted. There is no way to run this wire that doesn't contact these headers. The passenger side worked fine. I am now shopping for a set that will actually work.

Omit - ADA Stainless Steel manifold

Good quality build. First, you can not use the factory heat shield with this manifold. It does not come close to fitting. Second, you will cook off your OEM # 4 spark plug wire as it will touch the manifold. I got a longer wire with a 45* angle on the plug side from Autozone. Run the new #4 wire up and over the manifold and zip tie it out of the way. Third, you can not get a torque wrench on these bolts, due to the pipes being in the way. Go easy on hand tightening the bolts. Fourth, these pipes put off a lot of heat! I had them coated inside and out with a ceramic power coat and that has done a lot to cool down the under hood temps. With that all said and done, they are now a great upgrade!!!!!

            Could have been designed better

I got these headers for both sides as my cast manifolds were both cracked... Driver side was pretty easy to install. Passenger side required some work to get the fuse box and batery tray out. Once done they slip right in. The problems started when i cooked my spark plug cable on the #4 piston. The stock cable WILL touch the header. After killing 2 wires with a fiberglass heat boot on, i had the local autoparts store make me a wire with a 90 degree boot at the plug and ran the wire under the header. That coupled with the fiberglass boot seems to have solved my issue on the plug. Otherwise soo far they been working great.
